Project Update: Isopod Colony is Funded, Stretch Goals Unlocked!
Project Success:
Isopod Colony has been fully funded, and stretch goals for additional blind bag designs have been unlocked! I am humbled and thrilled that we were able to fully fund all of the planned pins - and on the first day, no less! Thank you all so much for helping to make this project happen! I am so excited to bring these pins to you!
Stretch Goals Unlocked:
The stretch goal designs for Ember Bee, Gestroi, Cuban Spikey, and Lucky Star have all been unlocked. I have added them to the reward options in the project. These designs are available for individual purchase, as well as being added to the blind bag contents. The blind bags are now complete with 10 potential designs.

Ember Bee and Gestroi Revisions:
Upon further review, the artwork for the Ember Bee and Gestroi stretch goals are going to undergo some minor revisions. I want to adjust the perspective on the heads to flow a bit more into the body, so it looks less like a disconnected segment doing its own thing. I will also be cleaning up the spot color markings to hopefully match their inspiration species a bit closer.
I've added "art revision pending" notices to these newly unlocked designs so that backers are aware that they will change slightly. The pose and star position will remain the same, I just want to fix those heads and have the markings be a bit more true-to-life while still being simplified for an enamel pin.
Additional Stretch Goals?
With the original stretch goals having been met, there have already been questions if more designs could be added as additional stretch goals. I am open to designing an additional stand-alone pin, mini pins, or an embroidered patch.
Please let me know if you have any favorite species you'd like to see, and be on the lookout for a future poll to decide if we will do mini pins (isopod army!) or a pin with translucent effects next.
