The night seems endless, with pages upon pages of failed translations discarded, progress slipping back to nothing. And yet, through sheer stubbornness alone, we’ve pressed on.
The Keeper of Dreams is, perhaps, the most fitting name we could offer him. Strangely, this figure has appeared across many accounts—whether seen in true dreams or conjured by restless minds, no one can say for certain. But one thing remains: the Keeper of Dreams is known to those who slumber.
The Keeper is inspired by a viral depiction of someone's dream - having seen a tiger whose stripes were melting off its body, masked with a demonic look. Many iterations of him were drawn and shared online, and I had made my own attempts to no avail until now. While he may be inspired, and loosely fan drawn, his story is still uniquely his.
They say sleep is a gentle veil—but in its folds, Dream waits. Neither nightmare nor savior, it lingers where forgotten fears still breathe. Silent and watchful, it sorts dream from delusion. To the restless, it offers only truth. And should darker forces creep in, it bares its teeth—for not all dreams are meant to be kept, and not all nightmares seek to harm.
If you would like to add the Keeper to your pledge, simply add on an extra enamel pin via add-ons as it matches the same pricing as the original 9.
I must have dozed off at some point during my attempts to translate this piece. I can't, in total honesty, say whether I did encounter the Keeper or not, but when I snapped to, I found yet another uncyphered document. I'm curious to know how it came into my possession, but even more curious on what this Calamity might unveil.
Take a look; can you guess what it might be?
It seems like the work never ends, but worry not - for I love what I do!
I'll be honest and let you know, this one might be difficult to transcribe for I'll be in the midst of traveling for the next day or so. In a blink of an eye, I'll be in Germany (for the first time) and I'll be adventuring off to Dokomi in Dusseldorf. If you happen to be in the area and attending, consider visiting me and my booth in Hall 4 @ 4B13!
Worry not, though, for I'll still be giving this project my best! Thank you for your support~ ♥-
