Project Update: Still working. Progress slow.

Everyone,

I apologize for the long silence on the progress of the Best of S&SM1 anthology. It has been very slow so it has been hard for me to talk about. At the moment I am still waiting for two pieces of art to come in. I have hope that they will be finished soon, but won't make any predictions on how much longer they will take lest I disappoint you. Once they do arrive I will try to get things together to go to the printer as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, I am chasing down my writers again to get contracts signed and payments to them made. I am also getting things set for the layout process that will be completed as quickly as I can once the art is all in.

Once again, I am sorry for not keeping you updated more often. I'll try to be better going forward. On the theory that no news is not good news, I will endeavor to send out weekly updates from now on, so look to hear from me again next Tuesday.

Best regards,

Curtis

Project Update: Work in Progress

Work is still ongoing on "The Best of Swords & Sorcery Magazine, Vol. 1" The remaining interior art is coming in and layout work is in progress. Here's a peek at one of the most recent illustrations we've received, the illustration by David House for "The Ink of the Slime Lord" by Jason Ray Carney.

Project Update: We're getting there!

Thank you to everyone who has backed the campaign in the last few days. We're up to 88% funded with a few days left. You can help us keep the momentum of the last few days by telling your friends and maybe checking out the add-ons. We're offering some nice postcards of some of our interior art. If you're following the campaign and considering pledging but haven't yet--why wait? You could be the person who puts us over the top.
