You will be charged when the campaign closes, so as long as you have the funds by August 15th you can back at any time! After the campaign is over only digital zines and leftovers (if available) will be on sale.

After the campaign ends, you will still be able to buy digital zines through our BackerKit pre-order store. This store will open shortly after the campaign ends.

Maybe, but do not bet on it! We will produce a small number of extra books and merch pieces in case any packages are damaged or lost. If we have any leftovers after all backers' orders are successfully fulfilled, we will put these on sale on our BackerKit pre-order store. Since we cannot confirm whether we will have any leftovers before fulfillment is complete, we cannot guarantee whether a particular article will be available outside of this crowdfunding campaign.

We estimate shipping costs to be around the following: - 10 USD for US orders. - 19 USD for Canadian orders. - 25 USD for Mexican orders. - 30 USD for European and Asian orders. - 38 USD for orders from anywhere else in the world. This estimate is applicable for all levels with physical rewards. Shipping costs may vary slightly if, for example you add several add-ons to your order, though we will do our best to keep these costs as low as possible. Please note that you may need to pay additional tax/customs upon receiving your order, depeending on your countries' regulations.

Good news: all of our merch pieces can be purchased as add-ons! While the bundles offered as pledge levels are the ones that provide backers with the greater value, we wanted to still give everyone as much of an option to mix and match pieces as we could.

No, this is a fan project. Our fanzines and associated merch pieces are not official licensed products but rather transformative works created by fans inspired by the Vampire Chronicles book series and its many different adaptations.

The main zine and most merch pieces are completely SFW. All NSFW pieces of art and writing have been compiled into Encore, our NSFW companion zine, precisely so that anyone not wishing to engage with that type of content does not have to. We do have one clearly marked NSFW print, which is only available to purchase as an add-on and as part of our Royal Box pledge level.

While there are no more physical copies of Volume 1, we are happy to share that the digital version of Volume 1, including Encore, is available as an add-on for a reduced price during this campaign. We originally set up a cutoff date for sales given that we needed to a make a final donation to our selected charities in a timely manner. By having the digital zine available once more, we aim to give anyone who missed Volume 1 the chance to check out the zine, and we can simply roll any sales into the numbers for the Volume 2 donation :)

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
