The Wastrel is the hero who walks into the dungeon like they own it, then walks out like they stole it. A razor-tongued minstrel who loves to push their luck. They swagger, gamble, and bend fate until reality blinks, standing on the knife's edge of charm and collapse.

And like a nine-life cat, they land on their feet… usually.

Can you believe it? We’ve got just ONE WEEK left in the campaign.

First off: thank you. The momentum, the enthusiasm, the sharing; so incredible to watch this project grow into something far bigger than we imagined. If you’ve been waiting to jump in, upgrade your pledge, or rally a friend to the hunt… this is the final stretch!

🏔️ We’re Closing in on Climb #6: The Relic Hunter

We’re getting very close to unlocking Climb #6 at $51,000, the Relic Hunter class.

The Relic Hunter is a scholar-adventurer who brings relic magic to Titanbound: ancient, power-soaked artifacts hidden in ruins, vaults, and titan-scars across the world, waiting for someone clever (or reckless) enough to claim them.

To celebrate how close we are, I’m excited to share something that hasn’t been seen until now:

The first image artist Shannon Ritchie submitted when I told him the concept of the class. As you can see below, IT'S AWESOME - but something about it was a little familiar. I can't quite put my finger on it....

 

If I figure it out, I'll let you know. I did alway image  this class would be about the mileage and not the years.

I hope you all had an awesome weekend, because WOW… thanks to you, we’ve climbed past $44,000, unlocking all the player aid handouts, and then went on to surge past $46,000+! 🎉

Titan Hunters, we’ve cleared another ledge, and the next marker is already in sight: Climb #6 is waiting, and it's packed with ancient power.

🏔️ Climb #6 - $51,000: The Relic Hunter

At $51,000, we unlock a brand-new class: THE RELIC HUNTER 🏺⚔️

Relic Hunters are explorers, scholars, and daring thieves who scour the world for ancient artifacts left behind. Equal parts intellectual adventurer and battlefield improviser. The kind of character who treats every ruin like a puzzle, every inscription like a map, and every “worthless trinket” like a potential weapon. They don’t win by brute force but by knowing what they’re looking at… and knowing how to use it.

This one has been easily one of the most fun to playtest because it adds something special to the Titanbound/Shadowdark toolkit: Relic Magic. Unlike spellcasters, Relic Hunters do not memorize magic. Instead, they wield recovered relics, fragments of immense power harvested from fallen titans and forgotten ruins.

Relics are ancient items infused with power, scattered across the world. They can be found on any crawl: beneath ancient cities, in forgotten tombs, buried in caves and dungeons, traded in black markets, or sitting in plain sight. They are yours to discover... if you know what you're looking for. 

And that’s the Relic Hunter’s gift: they don’t just find relics… they know how to use their power. Relic Hunters excel at exploration, trap disarming, and battlefield control, using their found relics to support allies and manipulate the environment. At the table, it creates a unique “discovery” feeling, like every expedition, crawl, hunt, or trip to the market might uncover something brand new, and every encounter might be the moment the Relic Hunter pulls out something old, strange, and exactly what the party needs.

Side note: if you like tables, there will be tables. Lots of Relic tables.
