I wanted to update you on the progress with the class. This month we had another playtest of the Vampire, trying to finalize two bloodlines (subclasses): Spore Bearer and Noxious stalker. After receiving feedback from Pesto and his players, we applied final changes and we think that the manuscript for these two is ready! As is most of the core class. We want to conduct one final test at level 10 and hope to do it as soon as Pesto will have time to do this (fingers crossed for October!). We are still working on the last three bloodlines but they are close to being able to be shown to our Alpha backers. In the meantime, we added a new section to the manuscipt - Treasure. Some of it are items made from Vampiric materials (like their fangs or ashes!), some of it are tailor-made for vampire hunters, and some of it is just cool stuff that's generally useful! There are a lot of trinkets and some leveled items, designed to expand your options (adding some gruesome ones) for rewarding players! In our alpha PDF form the treasure takes over 5 pages. Considering our pre-orders are going pretty well, we are also considering a last-minute commissioning of some art pieces for the treasure we made!
The plan is to release the core class with the two bloodlines were soon to all our backers, and the rest of the bunch in few weeks, when we send the stuff to Pesto. We also made a second version of the Vampire ancestry and we also plan to send it to testing. There are also vampiric complications, titles... A lot of good stuff!
