CRV2032 batteries are required for the candles. These are the round dime-sized disc batteries that are more commonly found in watches.

Currently, I am working on an update to share with everyone which will repeat a lot of what you're reading now. The main thing is, I totally forgot to write ANYWHERE on the product exactly what type of batteries you'll need for the candles.

When opening the candles, be careful. We tried our best to give you the most functional and affordable candles we could provide. Part of this includes having a loose On/Off switch which can detach and fall out once you open the candle to access the battery compartment. Don't worry, this is a "feature" (of the affordability) and not a "flaw." My personal testing with these candles is that they work really well and they last.
