Holiday Market – Last Chance Items
We’ve opened our holiday stall! A few treasures remain:
Demonologist’s Journal Vol. 2 – Entry Time! The following section applies only to backers who purchased the TDJ Vol. 2 Entry Add-on. If that’s you, it’s time to send in your entry!
Become a journalist, occultist, shopkeeper, historian, detective, gunsmith, medium, or any other character you imagine from the Victorian era. Submit your story, ad, or letter, and have it included in this immersive in-world publication!
The Demonologist Journal is an in-world periodical filled with tools and inspiration for both players and GMs. It features articles on demonic lore, history, equipment, scenario hooks, NPCs, locations, and in-world advertisements offering items and services.
Guidelines for contribution: Picture your Victorian-era readers as seekers of the hidden and the occult. What would grab their attention? What items might they want to buy? What services could you offer? Or perhaps you need help?
Here are some examples to get started:
Ads for Equipment: Sell rare or unusual items like a peculiar medicine, an antique weapon, an old book, or a strange photograph.
Ads Asking for Help: Request assistance for finding a missing book, solving a farm mystery, funding an expedition, or tracking down a missing person.
Ads Offering Help: Offer your services as hired muscle, a spiritual medium, or an experienced guide.
Reader Letters: Share an intriguing discovery, occult knowledge, or a strange encounter that would fascinate readers.
Your submission can be up to 250 words, and we’ll make sure it fits perfectly within the tone of The Demonologist Journal, Vol. 2. Minor adjustments may be made for consistency with the in-game world.

When creating The Exorcist’s Codex, we wanted players to feel at home; not just in the real world, but also in the beliefs, myths, and legends that shape our shared imagination. Our cultural history, forged over thousands of years, provides the perfect familiar battleground between good and evil.
In Winchester Tales, the ancient city of Winchester becomes that battleground. Founded by the Romans around AD 70 as Venta Belgarum, this historic city on England’s southern shores has witnessed the rise and fall of empires, from Romans and Saxons to Vikings and Normans.
Among the historical events we draw inspiration from is the conquest of the area by King Knut the Great in AD 1016. Of course, we might have taken some creative liberties, perhaps slightly exaggerating his Norse heritage, and maybe adding an ancient Norse relic once said to be in his possession, now hidden somewhere in Winchester’s shadows.
We’ve done our best to bring the city to life for readers and players of Winchester Tales. Maps, buildings, and local names have been recreated with care and as much historical accuracy as our research allows, though we might (possibly!) have gotten a few things wrong here and there.
We truly hope you’ll enjoy this collection, and if you’d like to support it, please share the campaign with anyone who might be interested. With only four days left, your help would mean the world, and could give us a fantastic finale!
