My nose has been to the grindstone these past couple of months, but your wait is almost over. Everything has been put into layout, and there are now two things remaining before I can distribute all the PDFs. You've all been tremendously patient, and I'm ecstatic to be almost finished.
There are two monsters I still need to fine-tune. I've a bevy of playtests scheduled for this week, so I expect to be finished within the week.
The text has changed between the last edit pass and now, so my editor and I need to do a final copy-edit/proofread pass through the book to catch any mistakes. This should take a few days after the playtests conclude.
Consequently, I will be locking orders on Friday, December 19th with the expectation that the game will be finished and digitally distributed sometime the following week.
I will start working on the print release in January and should provide more frequent updates on that process.
Meet A New Friend
I'd like to introduce one of the new monsters:

Meet Mallera Major the Silent, Seismic Geoduck.
Designed as the ultimate doomsday device by the U.S. Military, on equal footing with an atomic bomb’s destructive power but much more environmentally friendly, Mallera never quite measured up to the hype. Frustrated with the small scale of the induced earthquakes, the researchers exponentially increased the Mallera’s size. Alas, with the increased size came a resistance to the pain-based conditioning used by the scientists, and the first group of Mallerae Majores triggered a magnitude 10 earthquake that destroyed the American Southwest.
Mallera Major is one of the new Uncommon monsters, powerful foes that require extensive preparation. Each round, it destabilizes additional areas of the battlefield, creating micro-quakes. If not driven off or defeated, these micro-quakes will chain together, turning huge chunks of the combat arena into yawning chasms.
(and I hope you liked the pun because there are a LOT more where that came from)
EDIT: I already gave you the art, so lemme introduce another friend.

Meet Muskrattenkönig, the Indolent, Fascistic Sovereign
Some Unusually Sized Rodents are less communal-minded than their fellow rats. If allowed to remain in the colony, they slowly monopolize its resources, growing to tremendous size and ultimately unable to move under their own power. They lash their siblings into a giant rat king and force them to bear it about. The Musrattenkönig braids other rats from the colony into a meaty multi-rat mace that they flail at potential threats.
The Muskrattenkönig is one of the new Common threats you'll encounter in the Cities of Yore.
