Project Update: Launching in 24 hours! Important Info for New Backers!

Hello Everyone!

I know many of you are new to Backerkit and I want to give a little rundown of what to expect before launch!

Scary Cats launch in 24 hours!! What does this mean?

At 10 AM Pacific time (11 AM Mountain, 12 PM Central, 1 PM Eastern) tomorrow, the project will go live! You will be able to pledge to help Scary Cats come to life! Pledging is essentially a pre-order, but it is slightly different so here are a few things you need to know:

You will need to create a Backerkit account before pledging. This is where you will be able to view/manage your pledge.
Backerkit is an all or nothing crowdfunding platform. If we do not reach our initial goal of $5000, then the project will be canceled and your card will not be charged.
If we do reach our initial goal of $5000, Veronica the Skeleton Kitty will be unlocked, but there are still nine other stretch goals to reach. Each Scary Cat plushie has a funding goal that needs to be met in order for it to be manufactured. If the goal is not met, then that design will not be made. Every individual pledge helps us get closer to our goals!
Your card will not be charged until the end of the campaign.
There will be different pledge levels to choose from. This is where you are able to select the number of plushies that you would like to pledge for. You are not able to select the exact characters you would like until after the campaign has ended.
In addition to the plushies, we will have exclusive add ons that will only be available on Backerkit. These include a tote bag, vinyl stickers, and enamel pins!
After the campaign has ended, you will be sent a survey to select your plush style. You will only be able to choose from the unlocked Scary Cats.
Shipping is separate from your pledge. You will be charged for shipping at a later date, closer to order fulfillment.
There are 250 Early Bird Discounts available for those who pledge in the first 48 hours! Each plushie will be $43 for Early Birds. The regular price of each plushie is $48. Additionally, all Early Bird Backers will receive a freebie sticker pack! Try to pledge as early as possible to take advantage of the Early Bird perks!

Please keep in mind that this is a pre-order process. These plushies will take several months to be completed, but we will keep you updated and show behind the scenes pictures of the manufacturing process!

Also, please vote in the attached poll! It ends TONIGHT at 11:55 PM pacific time! It is to help us decide our last five stretch goals!
