Project Update: Fulfillment Update (Aug)

Hi all!

We’ve made it through the whirlwind of Gen Con 🎉. It was so great to see so many of you stop by. Almost every backer who signed up for Gen Con pickup was able to grab their games, which was awesome.

🚢 Where Things Stand
ArchRavels: Magic Socks is officially on the water and in transit to the U.S. and we estimate we are about 45 days away from our fulfillment partner sending orders out. In order to prepare for its arrival, we have a few housekeeping steps to take care of:

📦 Next Steps

Orders Locked: All orders are now locked.
Outstanding Orders: Any orders that were made but not yet charged, will be charged within 24 hours of this update (this is only like 20 orders, so this is not typical)
Address Lock (Friday, August 29th): You have one week to review and update your shipping address.
Shipping Quotes: Once addresses are locked, we will submit everything for final shipping and tariff quotes. This process usually takes 1–2 weeks.
Shipping Charges: When quotes are finalized, your shipping charges will appear in your BackerKit survey. We will post an update when these charges are ready to be viewed, you will have approximately 48 hours after that to update/verify your payment information.
Good Arrive: Goods will arrive at the port in Chicago, and will take some time to make it to FRG typically about a week.
Fulfillment Begins: After that, it is just a matter of waiting for tracking numbers as shipments go out.

We are getting very close now, and we appreciate your patience as we finish this last stage of the journey.
