Participation Expectations
To join Printopia, participants must:
- Run and fulfill your own crowdfunding project on BackerKit
- Launch a brand-new product (no reprints)
- Fit within event categories and themes
- Build and nurture your audience prior to launch
- Launch and end at the same time as all participants
- Join our private Discord server for coordination
- Follow BackerKit’s AI Policy
We expect participants to be team players—uplifting fellow creators, engaging actively, and helping amplify the whole event. Applications will be prioritized by (in this order):
- Previous Topia and/or Group-Collab experience on BackerKit
- Past crowdfunding success on any platform
- Referrals from qualifying applicants
- Open applications
BackerKit reserves the right to remove projects that we deem aren’t ready to launch.
