Dear Crow Friend,

We are very sorry. If your crows arrived with broken wings, or got blown off course completely, we understand how disappointed you are. There is something truly awful about anticipating something and then being let down when it arrives.

We are going to fix this. All UK and EU packages will be repacked and reshipped early this week (we aren't taking chances that you're not happy; we're resending to everyone, just in case). This means studier materials, more bubble wrap to protect the crows, and secure, larger cardboard sheets to protect the art. For US customers, please let us know by email if there is anything you are unhappy with in your package and we'll make it right.

You deserve beautiful crows and to be happy with your support of Bardic Armadillo.

No excuses. Just a heartfelt apology and assurance that we'll make this right and do better in the future (crows are good at learning and so are we).

To backers who reached out and let us know about the broken wings, thank you. We appreciate that you let us know, so we can fix this.

Hello Crow fans,

You're probably wondering where your crow art and other items are. Well, after a bit of a think, we decided that rather than sending things in multiple shipments, we'd do it all at once. But this meant, we had to wait for the Crows games to arrive at our center and then put all the packets together.

Don't worry, the Crows are on their way to us (with some flight assistance from FedEx), and then they'll be on their way to you. 

They should be flapping to you in plenty of time for Christmas.

Hello Crow Fans!

We just got back from Spiel Games Expo in Germany where we got to see (and sell out of) Crows versus Cats in its final form, and we were not disappointed. The game looks great and the cards shuffle really well. 

Don't worry! We kept your copies safe and sound and ready to ship out.

In fact, that's the next step. We'll begin shipping this weekend, with art and stickers sent in one package, and the games sent is another package. We don't want to make you wait, so we've decided to do it this way to cut down on time.

We'd like to say a special thanks to the backers who found us at Spiel, and a great big thanks to every backer who made this possible.

Hello Crow Friends!

We are happy to report that the printing of the first round is finished and decks will start shipping in a few weeks. We still have to get them to our fulfillment center but it's Mid-Autumn Festival and things are closed for a bit. We also have the artwork ready to go and PDF versions will be going out after the surveys have closed. FYI, if you selected a print copy you will receive the PDF of that print, rather than a different PDF.

In other art news, we've added the Magpie and the Velcrows to the art collection. These weren't available before, but they're in the Add-Ons section now if you'd like to go back and grab them up. 

AND! We've decided that if you selected a Choose a Name category, you deserve an art copy of your named friend, so we'll be adding an extra print to your order if you picked this level.

We've also heard from our remaining Namers. So we are happy to share that the last two kittens and the cat are now officially named!

Kitten 8 - Loki may have left his old name behind at the shelter, but his love of turkey has remained steadfast.
Kitten 9 - Ferox will happily curl up in a spot and let her tortie spots hide her while she licks off some stolen maple syrup.
Cat - Purrsephone won’t let the life of soft cushions and sunshine in her vast Victorian home stop her late night zoomies.

Sadly, these names came a bit too late to be included in this print run of the game. SO! We'll be making some special updated rules sheets for these folks, and then all future decks will have the corrected kittens and cat names and info.

I'm sure you've been wondering: Who are those handsome crows and adorable cats? Well so have we! And now we're happy to reveal that we know most of them. If you backed a Name that... pledge level please check your emails immediately (including your spam folder, because we've been trying to get a hold of you).

Without further ado, we are happy to present:

The Crows -
Marbles - Sara loves to follow bears around, but there aren’t that many in the dog park where she lives. 
Buttons – Amethyst has a passion for purple: purple grapes, purple rocks, purple buttons. She’ll collect it all.
Keychains – Nyx wants to play board games with their flamingo friends at the local zoo. 
Bottlecaps - Hopper has learned that peanuts come from plants, now they want humans to grow more plants, any plants.
Coins – Mr. Crowley is a literature lover who frequently tries to recite Austen in the park. 
String - We don't know yet, but we're sure they're special.

The Kittens- 
- Mandarin lives in a pile of chaos of his own making, preferably a yellow pile. 
- Freya is dancing through life while snacking on fish fingers, and no one can stop her. 
- Archer is a ginger boy, headbutting the world and convinced he’s a dog.
- Nutmeg will steal your heart, and your plushies, hair ties, and chapstick. 
- Gwendolyn the Gray wouldn’t give up her life on the road for a hundred catnip mice.
- Kleo Patra D finds time to enjoy a sashimi snack between wrestling matches with her teddy bear. 
- Tansy loves the sound freeze dried minnow snacks make while she chills in the garden. 
- There are two kittens we're still waiting to meet.

Cat - 
Our cat is a mystery we hope to solve soon.

Magpie -
- Järvs loves to chase mosquitoes around her favorite pond in Colorado. 

Thanks to all the folks who helped us get to know these cool critters.

In other news, we have seen the digital prints from the vendor, and they are just ready to start printing. We're on schedule for print and delivery.
