Hello, everyone! I'm here for our monthly check in, with some news about book progress and surveys! Yay! Also here is a cute little sprite thing I made of the main characters for book 3:
Book Progress
I am on track (maybe even a little ahead?) with the final edits for The Flame That Sings! As you can see on the graph below--the blue line is "par," or where I need to be to finish on time--I was behind for a while, but I've caught up. Whoo!

Next steps with production once these edits are done:
Book goes to editor for final pass
Apply final pass edits/final proofread
Final design phase
Other reward and merch production
Order and approve book proofs from printer
Order final print run

IMPORTANT: Surveys
Surveys will be going out this month! EVERYONE MUST FILL OUT THE SURVEY IN ORDER TO GET THEIR REWARDS, INCLUDING DIGITAL REWARDS. You will receive an email from BackerKit with instructions. If you have physical rewards, this is where you enter your mailing address.
An initial smoke test will go out this week or next to ensure the surveys are working right.
IMPORTANT APPROXIMATE FULFILLMENT PROCESS DATES:
September - Surveys sent out
October 31 - Orders locked (you cannot change the items in your cart after this)
November 1 - CARDS CHARGED FOR SHIPPING & EXTRAS
November 30 - ADDRESSES LOCKED
December 1 - Shipping begins
IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS AFTER FILLING OUT THE SURVEY: You can do so at at any time before November 30 by logging in to BackerKit and changing it yourself. Further instructions/info will be provided closer to locking and shipping time.
