I'm just checking in with all of you. Things are really calm right now, so I don't have TOO many updates, but we definitely have some things to talk about!
First of all, I am happy to say that the manufacturer will be starting on Nessie and Gertie very soon! The samples are paid for, and I couldn't be more excited. I want to see them in physical form, flopping around all cute and squishy! As soon as I get an update from the manufacturer, I will give one to you guys!
I am still chugging away on the info cards for all the characters we currently have. Yesterday became a little busy, and today was even busier, but I am getting back to work on that as soon as I wrap up this update-- I just really wanted to make sure I popped in. I love sharing everything with you guys, and seeing your comments, even if I don't always know what to say haha. I don't want to be a broken record, you know!
I think it's pretty much decided that Stella is going to be a sea lion, so I made another poll, which you can find here:
I wasn't sure what you were all imagining. Personally, I think it'd be fun if she was more like Nessie, but I think an anthro sea lion would be cute, too! I think someone mentioned a magnet in her nose for a ball accessory, and I am 100% on board with that.
I also created a poll to determine our 6th cookie pal, because I'm pretty sure we'll unlock it, and I think it might help with advertising to be like: Hey, we're this close to unlocking so-and-so! Be sure to check that out, if you want to make sure your favorite gets unlocked, if they haven't already!!
We also reached our 650 backer achievement, so that is really cool! I am just floored by the amount of us here. When I first started doodling this concept and the characters, I never imagined how many people would love it. It's just such a huge compliment, and I cannot wait for everyone to get their plushies and pins and stickers. The wait is going to pain me, but I know I won't be alone there either haha.

Writing contest?: How would you guys feel about a writing contest? I would come up with some kind of prompt, and then using what you know about the cookies, you would write a little mini story? I love writing. I don't share my writing a lot, but I'm FULL of stories. I know not everyone draws, and I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in something like this.
Speaking of contests... We have SOOOO many coloring page entries, and they're all SO amazing. I am just like... LOSING it. I don't know how I'm going to decide, you guys. Seriously. It's going to be so tough. Thank you to everyone who has entered so far. I will be sharing all of the entries on the day the contest ends!
