We are so, so thankful for what this funding means for us this year; we will be searching now for a new staff member to greatly expand our education program, and will be able to put in new flights for our rehab birds and ambassadors. We can't thank you enough for making this happen! We're really excited and overwhelmed by everyone's enthusiasm for the Visionary Vultures series! In case you're not familiar with who we are and the work this project funds makes possible, here's a little about us: Here at the Foxloft, one of our biggest passions is connecting people and wildlife through art. In particular we want to help cultivate and spread love and appreciation for vultures, who are so rarely in the spotlight. One supporter said, "I'd have never believed I would be excited to wear a vulture anything, but I am!" Every time we hear how one of our pins sparked a conversation about vultures or helped win people over to their beauty, it warms our hearts and cements us further in our mission to help these wonderful birds get more positive 'PR'. We won't save what we don't love, and vultures, the most imperiled family of birds in the world right now, need our love now more than ever!

Not much of a jewelry person? (Thank you to kind folks for sharing their beautiful shadow box/frame displays with us, as well as the lovely pin flag!) They look amazing framed! We also sell special magnet pin backs (pictured - that just push into the pin, no modifications necessary, and you can still use the pin as a pin if you want) through the check-out shop if you want other ways to display them. The pendants also make great holiday ornaments, and the earrings can easily be modified into small pendants by attaching them to a chain.

We smashed through more stretch goals and now the magpie earrings, red-tailed hawk pendant, Himalayan griffon pendant, and swan/goose earrings are now available! If you were waiting to add them to your pledge, you can do so by managing your pledge, choosing your pledge level again, and then adding them in the add-on options to confirm the change.
We're getting really close to unlocking the final earring and pendant goals: the Red/Black Kites and the Red-Crowned Crane!
Aaaaand, we have a brand new super stretch goal announcement: Usually the final 48 hours of the campaign brings in a lot of last minute folks, so if we're so lucky to get to the $150k mark before closing bell then all backers with $45+ total pledges (can include add-on items) will get a FREE bearded reedling mini pin! If we get closer to this goal, we'll run a poll where you can choose your favorite of the two delightful round bird designs to be made into the freebie pin!

We had so many great vulture photos we had to make multiple categories just for them and couldn't share even a fraction of the fantastic images you all shared with us! Thank you to everyone who sent in a photo, all the pictures were perfect and we're figuring out a way we can share the whole gallery with everyone so they can enjoy the experience, too!
