Project Update: 2025 Holiday Season Update: PDF prerelease on January, release window on February
Apologies for no updates for a few months. The project has been so close to the finish line that it didn't feel right to put another intermediate update up. But it feels necessary at this point.
Due to some factors mostly unrelated to me, the production has stalled a little at the very end. The last editing round hit a slight snag, but should be finished by the end of the year. The very last art pieces (I'm talking the last 3 out of 25+) have been in limbo for a bit, but I got word that they should, as well, be finished by the end of the year. We're talking of a tiny fraction of work on the game that still needs to be done.
So unless some catastrophe happens, Backers are going to get access to the prerelease PDFs in January, and then I just have to deal with the prints for release, meaning anywhere from late January to late February (if I need to do multiple passes, which I HOPE does not happen) is when I can send the physical copies to Backers, and then release the game for the masses.
This entire process has taken way more time, money and energy than I predicted. Once I am done with this, I hope I never need to crowdfund a game again.
Thank you for your continued patience.
