For this month, we thought we'd give an update on the Pledge Manager and answer a few questions. Going forward, we'll have more project updates on how the books and accessories are coming along.
 
There has been a slight delay due to all of the many (many) Pledge Levels, Add-ons, and assorted Stretch Goals which has made things a little bit more complicated than usual, but also because we're going to be partnering with fulfillment warehouses in the UK/EU and Australia to keep shipping costs as low as possible for Backers in those regions. Getting those shipping estimates for each region is also taking some extra time. But we wanted to let everyone know that we're still working on the Pledge Manager and should have surveys going out in a few weeks.

We'll also be opening things up for Late Backers so we can make those discounts on the actual Pledge Levels available. And YES! We are going to count additional funds from Late Pledges toward that final tantalizing stretch goal!
 
A couple of people in the Community comments did have a few questions about the Pledge Manager as well, so let's take a minute to address those.
 

Absolutely! And yes, that also goes for the "no reward" folks who chose the Elvi Okoye $5 pledge. Since we've already collected funds from the campaign, this means that if you upgrade to a different Pledge Level, you'll only need to pay the difference on the new Pledge.
 

Also in the Pledge Manager! If your Pledge or Add-on contains a multi-choice option of some sort, it will be a part of the survey.
 

Those dice, which were an incentive for signing up to be notified *before* the campaign launched, will be automatically added to your cart at the end of the survey, if you qualify. You won't need to do anything.

We will try to get those to backers as soon as we can, but distributing the digital files also requires locking the Pledge Manager. We try to leave the Pledge Manager open as long as possible, so folks have time to make any adjustments or if they need to update their shipping address. Typically we lock it down just before we start printing/manufacturing, so we know what the final order totals should be. We'll make an exception for the current version of the Expanse RPG Core Rulebook that we are giving away to backers for free though, since we wanted everyone to be able to start playing as soon as possible.
