Project Update: Help us shape the future of Sentinels 2!

It’s time to vote!

Check below to see what each potential stretch goal would entail, then vote to let us know what you’d MOST like to see.

A note on budgets:
We don’t have full stretch goal amounts to share yet as we’re still working out the scope of several of these ideas. However, Rook City Renegades is a MUCH larger goal than any of the others. Think of this poll as “Rook City Renegades, OR potentially several of the others”.

A note on Consoles:
We are also very interested in seeing not just Sentinels 2, but all our games on consoles. While there are costs involved in porting any game to a new platform, different publishing deals work differently so there’s no good way to say “if we raise this much, we can make a console release!” The simple reality is this is something we are actively pursuing, stretch goal or not!

  1. Rook City Renegades (Add-On)
    1. The first expansion for Sentinels 2 has 6 heroes, 9 villains, and 5 environments, along with tons of variants and events. It's a lot of content, so it would have a big budget. After we meet this goal, a $25 add-on will be available to add Rook City Renegades to your pledge. The expansion would not begin development until after the core game has shipped.
  2. Enhanced Campaign Mode
    1. The game will already include a basic Campaign Mode where you play through the Events and Critical Events in order, earning Collections to use in later games. We have ideas for more advanced campaign features, such as non-linear paths, hero roster changes, multiple save slots, and other roguelike elements.
  3. Weekly One-Shots Reimagined
    1. Many of you enjoy the regular weekly challenge available in Sentinels 1. For Sentinels 2, we’ll build a similar regular challenge, along with leaderboards to compare your performance with others on different metrics. Speed run? Fewest actions taken? We’ve got ideas…
  4. Puzzle mode/One Turn Challenges
    1. Take on crafted late game challenges in which players have 1 turn with a number of heroes and pre-set hands and boards to find the answers and claim victory. Sort of like chess puzzles, but super heroes! We'll create a set of puzzles to begin with, and potentially source more from the community.

If your gaming group has an opinion, get them to Visit the poll and vote too! The poll will be up through Tuesday morning. We’ll check in next week and let you know what we’ve decided on!
