Meet the pajama buddies: a troupe of silly critters born of old pajamas, blankets, and a little magic!! Each night they take off from their home in Sleepy City to journey out and fend off bad dreams. Every pajama buddy has special skills, and they all work together to make sure you have the sweetest dreams possible!!

Pajama buddies characters are now here as silly sleepy plushies to help provide you with comfort and companionship throughout the night! I am so excited to share this story and these little critters with you and hope you’ll love them as much as I do!
My name is Han, and I’ve been running my shop hannimations for four and a half years now! I have five successful large-scale crowdfunding projects under my belt, and have produced over 50+ different plush designs! Designing characters, stories, and plushies is my passion, and I hope to spread joy, love, and self-affirmation with my work!

Sleepy Snuggles Plush are about 14 inches/35cm long, made of soft minky fabric (the same kind used on my previous two projects, AuDHD creatures and Rainbeanies!), have high-quality embroidered details, and are lightly weighted with poly beads in their bellies and paws! These plushies are just loosely stuffed enough to be a bit floppy, but firm enough for a good cuddle! The Sleepy Snuggles Plush will run for $40 each.

If we unlock the first three Sleepy Snuggles Plush, we will be able to choose between additional Sleepy Snuggles Plush, or Jumbo Mochi Plush versions of the characters! The jumbo mochi plush will be significantly larger at 24 inches/60cm long, made with soft and stretchy mochi minky fabric and squishy mochi stuffing! Mochi minky has a low pile and is easily washed. The pose and details will be the same as the Sleepy Snuggles Plush, the difference will be in the size and materials! Since we do not have a sample of the Jumbo Mochi pajama buddies yet, I am not 100% sure on price, but am hoping to shoot for about $50!
Additional unlocked designs will have samples started as soon as they are unlocked! Please keep in mind the sampling process can tend to take some time, so I have included this in our timeline. I will share updates of the samples in-progress as we go!

I also wanted to note that the existing three plush samples are the final product and will not be changed or adjusted unless something comes up with production, so please do not make suggestions for those, as I will not be able to change them :) In general please make sure that you leave suggestions and comments with the fact in mind that I am a human being, and that at the end of the day, these are my designs and ocs and I care very deeply about them :)
All of our goals for the Pajama Buddies campaign will be BACKER’S CHOICE! The first three goals will be to unlock our first three Sleepy Snuggles plush, Ollie, Leo, and Lumi - and from then on backers will get to choose which plush they’d like to be unlocked next! I will update the graphic as things are unlocked, but for the most up-to date list of what's unlocked, check out the campaign achievements!
You may notice that the goals for this campaign are spaced out a little more than my previous campaigns - the reason for this is in order to accommodate for higher costs due to tariffs, I will need to order double to quadruple the amount of plush I typically do in order to get a lower cost per plush. I am doing this because I do not want to have to raise the individual plush prices for you and still have them be accessible and available at a price that feels fair to me. A higher quantity means higher bulk order cost, more storage, and more assistance grading and quality checking plush, but also means I am able to keep costs lower for individual plush prices.
Stickers will be available for several of the characters, with art provided by some wonderful guest artists! Some of the sticker art is still in the works, but here is what we have so far:

squishy buttons:
The squishy buttons as featured on the early bird section will also be available for purchase as add-ons, if you would like to grab extras or miss the early bird window! I am working on additional designs for the rest of the pajama buddies crew! :D Squishy buttons are pin-back buttons with a soft, pillowy top, with the design printed on mochi minky so you can squish their little cheeks!

I am also working on postcard prints of each of the characters, that will have their little bios printed on the back!! I will share the finished artwork for each as I finish them!
blankets: If we reach our fourth goal, I will add an add-on for some pajama buddies themed blankets! Let me know who you'd like to see featured on a blanket design! :D
As with any project of this scale, the timeline is subject to change! I will do my best to keep everyone updated as things progress:
July: campaign runs, any additional sampling will begin August: additional sampling so all products are confirmed before the surveys Between August to October: Surveys are sent out, production begins October to January: Production, Shipping, and Quality Checking Between January and April: Rewards are shipped out!
This is a loose timeline, because the time taken for sampling, production, and fulfillment greatly depends on how many plush are unlocked: fulfillment may happen much sooner, or much later, so again, please do your best to stay up to date with the updates I put out for additional information.
A few more time-sensitive things to note: First, if your survey is not fully complete and ready for the address to be locked by the time we’ve reached 50% fulfillment of the other backers rewards, I cannot guarantee that you will receive the rewards you would like and can only offer shop credit in the amount of your pledge!! Please keep an eye out as I will announce this date as it approaches.
Shipping is not collected until surveys are sent out and your answers are locked in! Shipping rates are subject to change as they are based on weight. I have done my best to calculate them here, but it is tricky to estimate in this way as weights will vary slightly from character to character, and if additional add-ons like blankets are introduced, these will also be quite weighty and will add cost to your pledge.

For domestic (within the US) rewards, we will be shipping them out via USPS, and all international orders via Ascendia (up to 4lbs, orders over 4lbs will be sent out either via UPS or USPS International.) Sticker-only rewards will be shipped via USPS letter mail. (Please note that if you back for the sticker only tier, add-ons and bonus rewards other than stickers will not be available to you, since I cannot ship non-sticker items via letter mail.)
Unfortunately due to EU and UK regulations, we are not able to ship plush directly to Europe. If you would still like a plushie, you can use a proxy or forwarding service that provides a domestic US address for you, or you can have them shipped to a friend who can send them to you! This goes for any location for which shipping services are not available.
EU and UK backers are still welcome to back for sticker rewards as they will be shipped via lettermail!
Lumi (they/she) is a cuddly little kitty who loves spending time with her best friends! They're a great listener and can hear and understand others quite well. Before she heads to sleep, she loves to have a cup of warm milk or tea! Lumi is a character created by my community! Together we decided on a theme, markings, name, and personality traits for them as well as some additional details like the expression and shape of the plushie!
Leo (he/they) is a sleepy little patchwork puppy and a wonderful friend! He loves sweets and treats and making things for his loved ones. He has an amazing sense of smell as a hound puppy and can sniff out bad dreams and muffins from miles away! Leo's design was created by Chaibumbles and inspired the pajama buddies line!
Ollie (he/him) is a speedy little dragon who's always on the go! He loves to collect rocks and crystals, and often accessorizes with a necklace or collar. Ollie is one of two types of pajama dragons, the original pajama buddies species! He is hard of hearing, as are the majority of dragons of this kind. He's very observant and can notice lots of tiny details, and loves to play I spy :)
Kopi (they/them) is a lively little opossum who's the barista at the local coffee shop in Sleepy City: The Sleepy Bean! All the pajama buddies love to visit and chat with Kopi while they get a quick drink and have a treat! Kopi loves experimenting with new flavors, and has an excellent sense of taste, usually able to figure out the ingredients of a treat from just a bite or two! I chose to have Kopi's eyes open for their plush design, because opossums are nocturnal, and they help keep everyone else awake with their caffeinated treats! :D
Nova (she/they) is a studious little river otter and a talented musician! She uses her musical talent to create soothing lullabies and melodies while out fighting bad dreams. Her favorite instrument is the harp, but usually on the job they use a flute or classical guitar! They love astrology and have a fun and silly time creating horoscopes for their friends.
Juno (they/she) is a fluffy little arctic fox who helps build homes for their fellow pajama buddies in Sleepy City! Sleepy City homes are made of magic-enhanced clouds that have the texture of soft fluffy snow, and the temperature of a cozy warm blanket. Tall, building-like structures are created by adding a new cloud home on top of the previous one, giving Sleepy City a very city-esque skyline. Juno loves getting to know each new pajama buddy and works hard to create a living space for them that's just as unique as they are!
Taija (any pronouns!) is a fashionable little red panda with an eye for style and details! He loves to dress up, decorate, or craft - any activity is a good time if it involves being creative! They're a problem solver and puzzle master, and are very helpful on dream-busting missions where there isn't an apparent solution. You can often catch her filling out a sudoku sheet with differently colored pens to create both a work of art and a mathematical solution :3
If you’ve backed a crowdfunding project before on platforms like Kickstarter, you’ll be familiar with the process!
To secure a plush/item, you will choose the corresponding pledge level that includes the items you would like to get! You can add additional items onto your pledge with Add-ons.
Backerkit does not charge you for your pledge until the end of the campaign, and only if the funding goal is met! During the duration of the campaign you can adjust your pledge or even cancel it if needs be.
To pledge for one plushie only, for example, you’d go to the ‘Pledge Levels’ tab and select ‘one sleepy snuggles plush’.
After the campaign ends, a survey will be sent out that will allow you to specify which character you want for your plush, as well as which stickers or other add-ons, if you added any of those previously! You will also be able to add-on additional items during the survey.
