Project Update: Survey Lock + Card Charge FINAL REMINDER!!
At this time I also wanted to bring up a few notes regarding surveys that will be pertinent in the future as fulfillment progresses.
- You may change your address at any time by visiting your surveys page on backerkit, up until I am ready to ship out your order specifically! You will get a warning email that your address will lock soon when that happens. Please make sure to keep an eye out for this because if I ship your rewards to the wrong address there is a large chance they will not get sent back to me and we will be unable to recover them :'(
- In extenuating circumstances, I can still adjust pledges after they are locked by manually unlocking them or editing them on the back end. I can do this again up until I am ready to ship out your order - please send over an email to [email protected] and make sure to include the email associated with your pledge and instructions as to how you would like me to edit it.
- If your card fails to go through on the 2nd, I will send out a second push around June 2nd. If you update your card information in Backerkit, it will process the charge immediately after. I will aim to send out a charge push for declined cards once a month until I have finished the majority of fulfillment. After this, if you update your information, and your card is charged, you will need to send me an email to let me know so I can fulfill your rewards.
- Any survey filled out or paid for after June, I cannot guarantee that there will be inventory of specific items, as they will have already been ordered, shipped to others, and available at events and such. You will always have the monetary credit! But you may hear from me asking for you to pick another choice if yours is not available anymore.
The preorder store will also close on the evening of the 28th! I am contemplating opening it again later for additional blanket preorders, especially since I was hoping to still release kopi, nova, and perhaps other character designs. I am a really big blanket fan :) I will keep you updated on that if it happens!!
I will check in again when I am ready to start the first batch of fulfillment!!
Additionally, I did want to offer Event Pickup just in case any of you will be at some of my events this summer, but it will be pending two things! First, that all the items in your pledge are complete and ready for me to bring to the event, and second, that you notify me three weeks in advance of the event! Please shoot me an email if you think you would prefer this and we can chat about it! :) My upcoming events include Furry Weekend Atlanta, Furlandia in Portland OR, Utah Pride Festival, Salt Lake City Pride Festival, and Anthro Weekend Utah! I am waiting to hear back from a few more conventions for events after July, and I'll mention any in my next update.
Also in regards to events, you may see Leo, Ollie, Lumi, and Nyx at my table setups at these events! Please know that after surveys are locking, I am setting aside all the plush and inventory needed for sending out rewards, and will only be bringing extras (which I ordered a significant amount of) to events. Again since the plush were completed in two batches, if you pledged for both Lumi and Kopi, I will have set your Lumi aside for you and will ship it out when Kopi has arrived and is ready to be sent out :)

Project Update: ALL SAMPLES CONFIRMED - survey lock + card charge dates!
As final photos are enclosed below, surveys will be locking APRIL 28th, and cards will be charged on MAY 2nd.
This also means the preorder store will be closing on April 28th as well!
Banjo:
Because the color pallet I chose for all pajama buddies was based on the fabrics available, I initially didn't see a concern with banjo's colors, until I received the sample in person. What was happening was that the peach and the blue colors were contrasting so much it was making both colors look deeply saturated. I tried one other variation and then requested that a copy of the fabric color book be sent to me so I could see them in person and make sure they worked together well. After receiving the color book I adjusted the colors one final time and am now really pleased with them!
Kopi:
I wanted to mention - in my art of kopi they show some stitch marks - I placed them where I intended seams to be, and while I would have liked them to be part of their finished plush, you cannot create solid machine embroidery between two seams, and it would cause a higher b-grade percentage. While top stitching is the solution here, it cannot be done at the bulk level. I added some stitches on my sample with a little embroidery thread and top stitching myself - I can create a tutorial for this if there is enough demand!
FINALLY her blue gradient is perfect :') I'm so happy with how soft and peaceful she looks!!
Nova:
I figured out how to add nova to the list of plush you can choose for your pledge plush, instead of just as an add-on, so now she can be seen on those survey questions!
As it stands, Taija does not quite have enough orders and I don't have enough funds to foot their production myself </3 but I would like to make more pajama buddies, with some of the other creatures we were voting on, sometime in the future (next year at the earliest lol) and when I am able to do that, Taija will be included in that batch!! If you already added Taija, you may still see them in your cart, but they will be removed before cards are charged!
PRODUCTION UPDATES: Leo, Ollie, Lumi, and Nyx plush are FINISHED with production, and are currently en-route to me. Please note that they will arrive in early May at the soonest, and I will a) not be able to grade/quality check them all at once, and it will take 1-2 months before I can begin sending them out and b) orders containing other plush which will be made in the second batch such as banjo, juno, and kopi, will not be shipped out until those plush are finished and have arrived and been quality checked! Mochi buttons are all finished and ready to go out. All blankets are finished and ready to go out! I have ordered ample extra of all of these items :) Stickers and postcards will be ready to go by the end of May at the latest.
The second batch of plush is in the works, I anticipate production will finish in early June, with 3 weeks of shipping to me and then another 1-2 months of quality checking. I will check back in on this when the first batch of plush is ready to be sent out!
Between preparing for and traveling to events, maintaining my online store, and working on backerkit projects, I am essentially working three full time jobs just to barely get by 😥 and I only have 24 hours in a day just like everyone else, but everything is getting done a lot slower than I'd like because of this </3 I will make one more update before surveys lock as a small reminder, and continue to let you know about production updates. My assistant is on break for a while as they've just had major surgery so emails are slower as well, but please send over an email if you need to adjust your pledge in a way that would require our help! Thanks!

Sense some people aren’t on the discord here’s an update from today. (There’s also photos of the plush pins, blankets, and new colors for the jackalope) squishy plush buttons and blankets for pjbs are complete and have arrived, Lumi, Leo, Ollie, and Nyx are en-route, but will probably not get here till May and take a while to grade. I had a bit of a rough go in March with my Canada event not going as well as I needed it to because my products and setup got stuck at customs so I had nothing to sell, and I'd spent so much time in February prepping for that event 💔 I lost a ton on shipping and travel and have a buy 3 get 1 free on all stickers and buttons online if you want to help out ! while trying to take pictures of the other pjbs I decided to adjust banjo's colors because the contrast as it was looked so dramatic and I started getting anxious about it and after testing a few other things my representative sent me the colorbook so I could see and compare the fabric colors in person and now we have a new set of fabric colors so just waiting on that sample and then production can begin for the rest of the pjbs and surveys will be locked two weeks after I have that (hopefully soon but there was recently a holiday in China!) Additionally my assistant Kade just got top surgery and will be taking time to recover so I may be a bit slower on emails and orders but I am so excited for them and want to make sure they have a proper recovery!

Hoping we get an update sometime soon since all samples apparently arrived to Han's house a month ago and we still haven't heard anything about Banjo and Kopi's changes :") I saw the thread that was posted in the server earlier, but I don't know if it was deleted by the original poster or by staff/Han. I understand that they're busy and they have personal stuff going on, but since people have put in their money to fund the creation of these plushies, I don't think it's unreasonable to want somewhat regular updates.

I wanted to post this here for supporters who aren't in the Discord just in case it takes a while for us to get another update! :) Here is an update directly from Han in the questions channel of their Discord: "I'm working on photos and hope to post an update soon. as mentioned before my primary source of income to pay my bills rn is events, so I have to prioritize preparing and traveling for them to keep being able to run my business since online traffic has gone far downhill. Please know that I am not actively neglecting the project and work on it in small pieces every day. I have taken projected numbers to start production on Leo, Ollie, and Lumi, as stated in a previous update, and blanket production as well as plush button production is also underway. CNY was last month so my manu was on break most of the month. The other plush still need to have production samples and numbers confirmed before production starts. I am working as fast as I can on everything and will update as I am able so I will no longer be answering questions in this channel regarding pjb updates as they will come when I am ready to give them. I'm really sorry for the lack in frequency, I am so wildly busy trying to balance everything I am doing the best I can <(emote)> thanks for your patience guys" There's an image attached of all the plush together, but I can't attach it here and I don't feel like downloading Imgur to attach a link. I can say that it looks like Banjo's very vibrant pink is the actual color and not caused by the manufacterer lighting, though.
