Interesting reports continue to filter in from the field. We have intercepted a series of… endorsements. Not from outsiders, but from those that appear to be directly involved in the mysteries of The Magnus Protocol. Their statements describe fascination, immersion, and the uncanny sense of being drawn into the world itself.
We felt it necessary to share these statements with you.
These aren’t just reviews—they’re glimpses of what happens when the world of the Protocol is opened, piece by piece.

Project Update: Shipping (mostly) Completed. A new Magnus Archive Mysteries season has launched on Kickstarter.
Project Update — Statement Begins
Hello Archivists.
This is a brief notice regarding the current state of dispatch. Most shipments have now left the archive and are in transit to their intended recipients. However, a number of backers located in regions serviced through the VFI hub system may find their packages… delayed. Whether this delay is mundane or something more ineffable remains unclear. If you wish to track the progress of these hubs, you may consult the official registry here:

Be advised: if you did not submit your address through the pledge manager, or if shipping fees were left unpaid, then your copy has not been sent. The archive cannot deliver records to an unknown location. Please verify that your order is complete via the backerkit pledge manager. A second wave of shipments will leave the archive at the end of this month. If anything remains unresolved, ensure it is corrected before then so your games can be included in that dispatch.
Should you discover something missing, damaged, or otherwise… incorrect in your package, please refer to the procedures outlined in our previous project update for reporting such anomalies. You can review that statement by clicking here.
We hope you are enjoying the cases so far. Our designer, Sydney, has been carefully reviewing the reports and feedback sent in by players. Continue sharing your experiences across your preferred social channels and post your links here in the comments — the archive benefits from every account.
Rest assured, Sydney has not been permitted much rest. New cases continue to be developed.
In fact, earlier this week we launched another season of mysteries on Kickstarter. The Magnus Archive Mysteries funded in just 10 minutes. If you’ve enjoyed the investigations so far — or simply wish to support further archival work — we encourage you to visit the crowdfunding page.
The Rusty Quill team has also hinted at further announcements as part of the 10-year anniversary of the show. Additional information will be recorded on the Kickstarter page as it becomes available.

Project Update: Shipping has begun. The packages are accounted for. We are watching.

As many of you have already observed, shipments are underway. Some packages have arrived safely. Others are… in transit.

As ever, it is not possible for all deliveries to occur simultaneously, nor for every box to reach its destination at the same time. Please do not be alarmed by this. Delays are not an indication of loss.
The games have not vanished into the ether.
If they have, rest assured: we are monitoring the situation, documenting irregularities, and will assist should your package exhibit any unusual behavior.

Shipping Status by regions:
Games for US and Mexican backers are being sent out from our fulfilment center in Texas! They have made good progress, but not all the games have been sent yet.
Games for EU and European backers have been sent – except for a few that didn’t confirm their shipping address. You should have received an email from PTS, please respond to have your games shipped!
Games for UK backers are in the EU and will be moved to the UK for final shipment shortly. Unfortunately, this can take 1-2 weeks depending on the time to clear import/customs processes.
Games for Canadian backers are being sent from Canada, and all orders should be sent by the end of the week.
Games for Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Rest of World are at VFI being packed up and will be sent to sub regional distribution centers. The most up to date status for these shipments can be found here: https://vfi.asia/hubs/
At this point in time we unfortunately cannot provide you with further detail about individual shipments.
Missing/Damaged Items
While we have great confidence in our production and fulfillment partners, we know that not everything will be perfect. So if you receive your rewards and you need assistance with replacement parts or damages, please follow these steps:
- For Europe/UK, please fill out a ticket here: https://support-ibc.surfinmeeple.com/open.php.
- For all other regions, please send an email to [email protected].
- Include your Kickstarter email address & user name (this lets us know who you are)
- Include your current mailing address (this lets us know where to send replacements). It helps if you include your name as part of your address and use separate lines instead of commas.
- Tell us specifically what you are missing and/or damaged items. (This lets our team know what you are missing). Please check everything so we can send all replacements at one time. Please be specific - "I am missing everything" isn't specific.
- If applicable, attach pictures of damaged items and/or packaging. This is required if you want a replacement box - so please don't throw away damaged shipping boxes until you have taken pictures.
We will send a response email to you within seven days of the last email you send. Sending multiple emails will delay our response to you.

Project Update: Games Have Arrived!
Hi recruits!
We hope you had a very happy new year!
We have a very exciting update for you! In spite of a few unexpected shipping delays, our containers have finally arrived! We are now in the process of unloading, processing, and finally shipping them out to you all as soon as possible.
For our US and Canadian backers, this means the distribution center should begin shipping out your games starting early next week.
For our fans in Europe, the games are also very close. We have been informed by our European distribution hub that they’re expecting the arrival of their shipment of games within a few weeks. Once they arrive, they’ll go through their own unloading and processing before they get shipped to our backers.
As for the rest of the world, your containers have also arrived at our global distribution center! They’re currently being unloaded and sorted, and then packing will begin next week. Once packing has begun, you can check this link: https://vfi.asia/hubs/ and scroll down to the “M” category to check the status of shipping in your country. It will unfortunately vary from country to country for how long final shipping will take, but everything is moving along just as anticipated.

Project Update: Address Lock in 48 hours
Hi recruits!
We have an important update from HQ as we move closer to fulfillment. Everything is progressing well, and now that production is underway, we are preparing for the next major step: confirming shipping information.
Address Lock Reminder
We will lock all addresses soon to ensure that your case files arrive safely. If you have moved recently or need to update your information, now is the time to review your details in BackerKit.
How to Update Your Address in BackerKit
You can update your address directly through your BackerKit account as long as addresses are still unlocked. Here is how to do it:
- Log in to your BackerKit account.
- Click Settings in the top-right corner.
- Select Update Address. This will update your address across all projects that still have unlocked surveys.
Please note that this method may not work if state-based shipping fees or taxes apply. If the address does not update inside your survey, or if your balance changes, you will need assistance from BackerKit’s support team. They may ask you to provide the following information:
- Full Name of Recipient
- Address Line 1
- Address Line 2
- City
- State / Province
- Zip / Postal Code
- Country
- Phone Number (for shipping purposes)
If a project has already locked addresses, please contact us directly through the campaign page with your new information.
Updating Your Address Through Your Survey
You can also update your shipping details by opening your BackerKit survey from your confirmation email. If you need the link resent, visit BackerKit’s survey recovery page.
