Remakes of flawed pins are currently underway! However, a different manufacturer will be handling them.

I'll try to keep it quick: last update I detailed how a huge portion of Moon Hollow's designs were flawed/B grades, and that I was seeking remakes from my manufacturer. I contacted them pretty early on about the high number of flaws I was noticing and asked if remakes were possible, and received a tacit confirmation that flawed designs could be remade (a response to the effect of: "yeah, please share photos of flawed designs"). I spent weeks documenting flaws with photo and video, and sent everything to my rep. A week goes by, and then I received what appeared to be a canned response stating that the pins were checked at the factory and the quality/flaw rate is consistent with all orders they send (basically, there was no problem). 🙃 There was no acknowledgement of the evidence I provided, and no explanation why so much of the order did not match the quality of the samples I was sent previously. 

It was clear they did not intend to remake the pins, and after another week of back-and-forth, I decided to stop wasting my time with them and turn to a different manufacturer for remakes (with the help of another artist friend). Luckily, I was able to get a partial refund for the flawed pin order.

I am happy to say that the ball is rolling on remakes, but I'm currently waiting on proofs, so it's very possible fulfillment will be delayed a bit more than I originally estimated. Fingers crossed for them to arrive in October (wouldn't that be perfect timing?), but I am not going to rush the process.

As before, I'll be sharing an updated production timeline and photos of remade pins-in-progress when I have them! After approving the proofs, I'll ask my new manufacturer for a rough timeline and update again.

Apologies again for the delay to this project, but there was absolutely no way I was going to pay the previous manufacturer to remake these pins, and I certainly wasn't going to send out flawed pins to everyone. This whole situation is very frustrating and costly to fix, but I appreciate all of the support and understanding on my last update. It means a lot, and I'm looking forward to getting these pins made properly🖤

TL;DR: Pins are being remade, but with a new manufacturer. Timeline TBD, but I'll update when I have an estimate.
