Thanks to all of you for continuing to bear with us while we fulfill your RiverBank RPG pledges! We know there have been some delays in getting rewards out, and we’re happy to see that books and accessories are beginning to arrive everywhere. 

 

To folks who have received their pledges, we hope that you’ve had a chance to start your adventures! For our backers who are still waiting, here’s where fulfillment stands. 

 

Orders without tea add-ons are shipping out through SpiralGalaxyGames now. If you are a backer in the EU/UK without tea in your pledge and you haven’t received a shipping notice please open a support ticket at support.koboldpress.com with your BackerKit pledge details and we’ll ensure your rewards go out right away. 

For EU Backers with tea add-ons: 

We are updating labeling on each individual box of tea to meet EU import regulations to ensure it clears customs properly.  

 

We understand this delay is especially frustrating, and we assure you we’re working with our partner to resolve this. As soon as our label is cleared by our partners in the UK, those outstanding orders with tea will start shipping. 

 

Our US warehouse was shorted approximately 150 units of the Poetry herbal tea. The manufacturer is working to ship us the remaining inventory as quickly as they can.  

 

If you pledged for Poetry tea and did not receive it, let us know by opening a support ticket at support.koboldpress.com and we’ll ensure your tea is delivered as soon as we receive the remaining stock. 

 

 

All backer rewards have been fulfilled! If you have not received your pledged-for items, open a support ticket at support.koboldpress.com and we’ll ensure your rewards are delivered. 

 

Dice and card add-ons have been sent out via our US warehouse! All backers should have received a shipping notice for these items, and they should be arriving shortly if they haven’t already.  

 

If you have not received your dice or cards, or a shipping notice for them, contact us by opening a ticket at support.koboldpress.com and provide your BackerKit details. We’ll make sure you get them! 

 

A Note About the Dice 

 

We’ve noticed some discussion about the dice and we wanted to clear up the confusion. The dice were designed primarily for RiverBank play, and as such the only d12s included in the set are specially designed for Animality/Poetry rolls. The set does not include a standard d12. We apologize for the confusion! 

 

If your pledge is missing your copy of The River Bank novel, contact us at support.koboldpress.com and we’ll make sure you receive one.

As the weather turns to chilly and Animals everywhere start dusting off their best hats and jackets (moths optional), there is one very good reason to stay indoors with a cup of tea and a few friends; RiverBank RPG shipping has begun!

Backers in the United States as well as those in Australia, New Zealand should begin receiving shipping notices and tracking details - some of you have gotten these already! Your orders will start leaving the warehouse on Wednesday, November 5th. We'll also be releasing the PDF to backers ahead of the hardcovers on Monday, November 3rd!

For backers in the United Kingdom and Europe, your books have arrived with our fulfillment partner in the UK, and will start shipping nearer the end of November. We apologize for the extra week or two while you wait for your books, and hope the PDF keeps you busy while we work to fulfill your orders. For backers in Canada and the rest of the world, expect your notices by mid-November.

Due to a production delay, we'll be shipping dice and cards separately from your hardcover books. These will ship by the end of December, and we'll keep backers posted on any changes to the calendar. Thank you for your patience!

Not to worry! We will be re-opening the RiverBank BackerKit once we have begun shipping the first round of pledges to allow backers another opportunity to add their shipping details, settle shipping, and receive their rewards. We will make sure to post another update letting you know that the BackerKit has re-opened as soon as we're ready for another round of fulfillment!

Dearest friends, fellows, and those few furtive field-mice who have found a good spot in our sock drawers and larders - we have splendid news for all! We’ve been scurrying and scribbling, and the presses all are a-rumble with activity. Your RiverBank treasures are nearly here, and we’ve got a comprehensive update on where we are in the process:

 

The Book Itself - Layout is complete, polished to high-gloss, and rolling off the press. We are delighted to report that we are on schedule, with release to backers planned for early November.

 

Betweentimes & Haphazardry Cards - Are in-production and will soon arrive in our warehouse to make their merry way to you!

 

Dice - Our fine artisans are hard at work on your rosewood dice, we can report that these look altogether dashing (if dice can be said to smoulder, they surely do)

 

Tea & Infusers - Safe in the warehouse, ready to meet your kettles and treasured mugs.

 

Stickers - Cut, printed, and perfectly ready to adorn trunks, journals, or fancy hatboxes.

 

The PDF - Our industrious scribes are adding the final touches to the digital version of the book, including alt-text and that last bit of polish. Expect the digital edition to leap into your libraries alongside the physical book - a perfect pairing!

 

In short: all is flowing smoothly downriver towards completion. Production proceeds, fulfillment follows, and before too long you’ll find yourselves ankle-deep in RiverBank, getting ready to dive in.

First, to a matter of utmost importance: your RiverBank surveys are open! All backers should have received notice that their pledge surveys are ready to be completed through BackerKit.  

 

When you complete your survey, you’ll be invited to add your shipping details to your pledge, as well as add on any extra trinkets and trifles that would look very well in your study or tea room. Please ensure your information is up-to-date and accurate to ensure delivery! 

 

The BackerKit will close on August 29th, 2025, at which point we can accommodate no further changes to pledges. 

 

If you did not receive your survey, or have any questions or concerns about your pledge, open a support ticket with us at support.koboldpress.com, and we’ll get them addressed right away!

Troubleshooting: AppleID
If you use an AppleID for crowdfunding, please reach out to us via support.koboldpress.com. Using an AppleID means BackerKit can’t send you email communications, such as the link to fill out your survey or the notice of when the survey closes (i.e. when your card will be charged). Just reach out and we'll get it sorted!

Troubleshooting: Unsubscribed from BackerKit Notifications
If you unsubscribed from BackerKit notifications and don’t see your survey email, visit your BackerKit Settings and uncheck “Do not send me survey invites or reminders for ‘No Reward’ pledges.

Troubleshooting: Can’t Find the Email and/or New to BackerKit
If you’re new to BackerKit, you can follow this link: https://riverbank.backerkit.com/  enter your BackerKit email address, and click “Get My Survey” to get a new email sent to you. You don’t need an account with BackerKit to complete the survey, but having an account makes it easier to update your address and/or check on and adjust your order at any time before the BackerKit closes.

RiverBank is a game that is every bit about exploring the setting as it is about embarking on adventurous escapades with your Animal friends.

The village is abuzz in preparation for the King’s Birthday, and while the map takes a very-much-too-high view of the world your Animals inhabit, you can surely feel the excitement!
