What are the differences between the content of the book and the cards? Is the entire content of the book on the individual cards, or does the book contain additional lore and information that is not included? What about for the original first book and cards?
Hi Jayson! The cards include the boons and charms from the book, but not the monsters, and will have the rules text for how to use boons and charms in your game. I haven't yet decided about how or if I'd include the Ritual system with the cards. The same is essentially true of the cards for the first book. The box set contains the 380 boons, charms, and pacts from that book (and all rules information you need to use them), and the Deck of Trainings contains the 60 trainings from the book, but the book additionally has over 50 Histories and 100 Titles, as well has 20 Pact Entities (Aberrant, Celestial, Fey, Primal, and Unholy monsters/NPCs that can be used to give quests to earn boons, charms, and/or pacts as adventure rewards) and 40 Master Trainers, which include plot hooks for adventures focused around earning the Advanced Trainings. Essentially, the card box sets can be used independently of the books themselves, and serve as excellent references at the table, but the books have content that is not included in the cards.
