We're off to a fantastic start, with the first funding stretch goal unlocked and adding ritual recipes for all the 300+ boons and charms from the first book! We've also unlocked a 6th mini for the STL and Resin Miniatures bundle add-ons (and all tiers with those included), which will be voted on by backers after the campaign ends and the remaining monsters are more fleshed out.
New Stretch Goals
With these stretch goals unlocked, we're on our way to the next funding stretch goal. At 30k, we'll unlock some fantastic art upgrades, giving a full page illustration to the most powerful/iconic creature in each of the five categories (Aberrant, Celestial, Fey, Primal, Unholy)! As a taste of what you can expect from these, here's the first of the five pieces: the Voidwyrm, by Todd Ulrich.
The Voidwyrm, by Todd Ulrich. A creature from the outer reaches of space capable of traveling at incredible speeds and making long journeys due to its vast lifespan. When one makes its home on the material plane, the region around it takes on aspects of space, filling the air with glowing gas and creating strange gravitational effects.
I'm also adding another miniature unlock stretch goal! Since these goals upgrade the rewards of backers who pledge for either the STL or Resin Miniatures bundles, I figured I'd make this a goal based on those specific pledge counts. So, when we reach 40 pledges for miniature bundles of any kind, I'll add a 7th figure to the bundles! We're already over halfway there, so if anyone's been waiting to see how many minis we unlock now's a good time to join in and help get more minis for everyone!
And of course we're about a third of the way toward unlocking the Early Bird stretch goal! If you're planning to pledge at a physical tier and haven't already be sure to do so before the Early Bird period ends on Friday to help unlock an extra free d6 for everyone!
Play by Poll: The Job Board
Finally, I've started the first of what will likely be four play-by-poll adventures with a poll attached to this update! For anyone not familiar with the idea, these are kind of like a play by post style adventure where I write a prompt for you in each play by poll update and you all vote on which direction the party will take. These adventures will center around creatures from the book, how you might hunt them, and, of course, what rewards you might earn from your encounters!
This first one is pretty simple: You're at the local adventuring guild/monster hunter's lodge and peruse the job board for your next hunt. Every job offers some rewards on their own, but these in particular catch your eye as you note some potential uses for harvested parts not currently listed as part of the job request. Which creature do you hunt?
If we get 400 physical backers in the first 72 hours all early birds get a free d6 in addition to the d20 reward! (Note: this achievement requires manual tracking for the goal number and will not auto-update)
