I got a video of what were supposed to be the final dice samples yesterday, and while they somehow look even more spectacular than the sample images I shared in the last update they had one vital issue that needed fixing on the d4, and the font had inexplicably been changed. They're making one more sample so that we can confirm the final appearance, and then dice manufacturing will begin!
Timelines
So, what does this mean for fulfillment timelines? Well, it means that the dice production won't finish up before the books and cards are done. This is going to push back the freight shipping date by a few weeks and likely means US-based fulfillment will be starting in the middle of June (assuming all goes well with the ocean voyage). A big lesson learned from making dice in this campaign is to start on dice samples even earlier next time around! Should be a lot easier to do since I probably won't have to change manufacturers in the future.
Roll20 I'd mentioned I hoped to have this done by now, but there's been a lot of technical complexities that I've been working through with my contact at Roll20 as I learn how to properly get all the attributes into the Compendium for all the non-standard content this book has.
From a completion standpoint: all the text is in, and the website pages exist for all the content including all the character portraits and boon symbols. I also now have a confirmed way forward for finishing up getting the attributes filled in so that when you drag a History, Title, or Training to your character sheet it applies appropriately. This is something I'll be working on this week, and then after that I think it'll pretty much just be a matter of testing things out and making sure that it all actually works as intended. Assuming that goes smoothly, release will come shortly after that!
Foundry Last I heard the module was going to be done late March/early April so as far as I know that's still the plan. I'm expecting an update on this from the conversion specialist working on it, so I'll be sure to let you know when I know more about the release date for it! - EDIT: Literally just heard that he's going to time it with the v13 Foundry release, so it should be out in about a week!
The header says it all - Tome of Intangible Treasures II launched this morning and funded in about an hour and a half! It's on its way to unlocking the first stretch goal, which will add Ritual recipes for all of the boons and charms from the first book to let anyone with both books enchant themselves with more than 600 boons and charms between the two books. Plus, as a thanks to all my previous backers, you'll get a free d6 when you pledge for a physical tier at any point during the campaign. This is in addition to the free d20 Early Bird reward, and (assuming we unlock the Early Bird stretch goal) extra d6.
