11-21-2024 - 20 BONUS SPELL CARDS

Here is what was mentioned a few days ago regarding the 20 BONUS CARDS found in the VERY LARGE 120 card deck of SPELL CARDS available in this campaign.

We wanted to provide a more “interactive” use for these 20 cards, so we decided on using 20 spells or spell-like powers you can find in 5e that also happen to (somewhat) match/correspond with the (exaggerated) powers of the Tarot card deck’s 22 Major Arcana cards. 

We will be using cards 1-20 and omitting THE FOOL and THE WORLD, but you will have plenty to play with when it comes to this 20-card deck of magic cards. 

As an example, we are featuring probably the most powerful card in the deck. Card #13 - DEATH. This card’s power is quite potent, being a POWER WORD KILL spell the PCs may use on one of the many deadly foes they must face to escape Kergard Keep. 

That’s right, this lethal deck of 20 cards can be found by the party and be used at their discretion. These cards tend to be quite powerful, but there’s just one thing. Each card may only be used ONCE, and that card vanishes forever. So choose wisely!
