I got home super late last night from a convention and was shocked to see all the animals, even the bonus ones, we're funded!! Thank you very much, what an exciting first day!!
So today and tomorrow I'm going to get caught up and update graphics and such as well as pledge levels. Here's what I'm planning now that we are fully funded:
1. Animal Small Pins and Footprint Mini Pins I was already considering this, but now I'm definitely going to! I'm making mini animals to match the main ones, as well as pins of their prints! Here's the price breakdown once it's updated:
Small Animal Pin: $15
Mini Footprint Pin: $10
Animal Cracker Gacha (3 random small animals): $35
Bear Claws Gacha (3 random mini footprints): $20
I will make new tiers for the gacha packs as well as a single small/mini pin and a whole set. These will already be unlocked as a thank you for a great first day! Look forward to them!
2: Poll - What Other North American Animals Would You Like To See Drawn? I'm taking requests for more animals so please leave your ideas in the comments! I will likely do 2 or 3 more depending on how far we get with funding.
3: Upcoming Poll - Let's Create A Legendary Beast!!! I'm going to do a design based on YOUR creativity! Starting soon, I'll put up daily polls asking you all to vote on traits and features I will incorporate into a completely new animal! Just like how my marachi bird is a mix of animals, this one will be as well! You will be voting for features such as whether it will have antlers, horns, paws, talons, wings, etc! The end result will be made into a pin!
I'll start the daily polls Monday and we'll have about 5 total! Get hyped!
I'll do another update tonight or early tomorrow when I have the new graphics, pledge tiers, and add ons ready to go. Thank you for your patience!

We launch on Tuesday the 18th! I will not be streaming for the launch or posting much on launch day because I'll be driving through Kansas, but I'll check in with all of you on the 19th! As we approach February, I just wanted to give a little update on this project! First off, thank you to everyone who has already followed! It is super encouraging to see so many people interested in these pins! I'll go through all the details I got so far in a nice numbered list!
1. Are You Still In Pintopia 3? No, sorry! I decided to pull out of it so I can have more time to work on the art and figure out other details. I have a few Pintopia 3 campaigns I'd recommend checking out at the bottom of this update if you would like to support other pin artists!
2. Is This Campaign Still Happening? Yes! I will be launching March 4th now as a part of the Oddities and Obscura pin campaign collection. I will absolutely post more details on that collection later - every artist involved is absolutely amazing!
3. How Many Pins Will Be In This Set? At the minimum, 13! It's a lot! I have stretch goals planned for 3 additional animal designs, a piece of jewelry, and (if things really explode) mini pins to match the regular pins.
4. What Prices Can We Expect? I'm setting all of them at $25 for now but that can change after getting the quote for the pins. The theoretical jewelry piece will be more expensive for sure (probably $35-$40?) because it's going to be a LOT.
5. What Are The Size Estimates For These Pins? About 2.5"-3" big! It will honestly depend on the size! I would love to keep them on the small end though.
6. What The Heck Is This Set? It's a set for a zodiac I made up for my original comic! Most of the animals are North American so it's a fun little twist! I'll have all the lore on my campaign page so you can learn all about it!
7. Which Animals Are You Doing? Hawk, Falcon, Elk, Caribou, Horse, Bighorn Sheep, Lynx, Snow Leopard, Bear, Wolf, Salmon, and a bird I made up called a Marachi (yeah yeah, like my name). Here's the pin design I have for the marachi so far!
So if any pin is going to be more expensive, it's for sure going to be this one.
8. What Are The Stretch Goal Animals? I'm planning a Puma, Buffalo, and Raven! And I'm doing my fancy lil' made up bird for the theoretical jewelry piece. I was originally going to have a plush with this campaign when I was a part of Pintopia 3 but I think I won't do that unless we make a bonkers large amount of money. Plushies unfortunately have a very high minimum order quantity.
9. When Is The Estimated Shipping Timeline? At the very earliest, it would be late June but that's only if NOTHING gets delayed. More likely, it will be July or August.
10. Any Other Plans? Yeah! Quite a few! In June I'm planning a Pride DDR Arrow pin set! After that I have a New Zealand bird set and cryptid teapot pins. I have a couple other plans but I'll wait to announce those until I have more concrete ideas.
