Project Update: August 2025 Monthly Update

Hello Scions,

As we slide into the final days of August, it's time for our monthly update! Let's get to it!

Scion: God hardcover reward fulfillment update

The hardcover books for this Crowdfunding campaign are currently at the start of the fulfillment process at Studio 2, Onyx Path's fulfillment partner for this project. 

FULFILLMENT PROCESS

All orders for the hardcover book that were confirmed by, paid for, and had delivery destinations confirmed by August 15, 2025 have been passed on to Studio 2, Onyx Path's fulfillment partner, and will soon be picked, packed, and shipped out over the next 6-8 weeks. 

They will be working in waves, starting with single-item domestic orders, then single-item international orders, then multiple-item domestic orders and finally multi-item international orders. The Storyguide Screens have not yet delivered to the warehouse, but are expected to print and deliver soon, right as the warehouse team moves to the multi-item order waves.

As part of the prep-pick-pack process, you will be assigned a tracking number, so - in theory - you'll be able to follow your order along as it works it's way to the shipping address you confirmed in BackerKit.

TRACKING INFORMATION

The first step in the order prep process is to print out an address label and a pick slip - these two items are linked together so the warehouse knows what to ship and where it's being shipped to. This means that a tracking number will be assigned to your order BEFORE it will be shipped from the warehouse, possibly even before the items are even put in a box.

Once the bulk of the orders have been processed, you should get an e-mail with Tracking Information. 

Your tracking information may take a few days to update at any given time, so you may see "Pre-Shipment" as it filters out to the various shipping agencies, but it should update as it travels and eventually delivers to you.

Again: You'll have your tracking numbers sent via the e-mail provided to Backerkit, and shortly thereafter, you will also be able to access your Tracking number in Backerkit by reviewing your Order Confirmation.

Again: this process will happen over the next 6-8 weeks

I will be keeping an eye on it and in touch with the warehouse team. As orders are actually shipped out, I will be clicking the buttons to have the tracking number e-mailed to you. Usually that will happen just as the couriers pick up your items. I'll do my best to keep ahead of it.

Once orders start to go out, I will send another update detailing how to access your tracking number and asking everyone to check on their tracking numbers as items are in transit and delivering. But that'll probably be a few weeks still.

Rewards Still Pending


Hopefully next month I will be able to officially move those top two items to the delivered list! Everything else is in progress. The latest Monday Meeting Notes from Onyx Path lists the artwork for the Scion: God Companion (Player's Guide) as "finals in progress" so hopefully we'll get some artwork sneak peeks in an upcoming update.

In Monster Kingdoms, you play a creature of darkness. You may be vampiric magus, or feyborn harlequin. You might be a warrior gauntlet, an orc cultist, a druidic elf, or a flame-spitting dragonkin. A character’s infamy is a means of measuring their success in the Monster Kingdoms, whether virtuous or vicious. The only unworthy deeds are the ones no one hears about.

Monster Kingdoms is a complete tabletop roleplaying game of dark fantasy, where evil is a natural state, adventure boasts horror and violence, and politics are cutthroat. It includes:

  • A massive number of playable monstrous characters.
  • A dangerous setting encompassing 13 unique, competing kingdoms.
  • The entire dynamic Storypath Ultra system.
