Additionally, you have already unlocked a new background: The Hearthkeeper!
Hearthkeepers are the barista, tea makers, innkeepers, and chefs that keep the cozy places we all love operational. Guardians of hearths and tradition, Hearthkeepers not only serve the best drinks and food, but tend village fires, mend lanterns, and oversee festivals, always ensuring no one is ever left alone in the dark.
Next to unlock is The Rookwright background: the tinkerers, clockmakers and inventors of Nimm, many of whom studied at the famous Cloudlight University.

Backgrounds act as a 'class' of sorts in Midnight Muscadines, with each character having a trade or daily job in addition to being a Marmateer. Each brings their unique skills and abilities to hunting for their harvest in the Wildernight.

Midnight Muscadines features companion rules to befriend many of the creatures found in the bestiary, but several creatures are used for mounts by Marmateers, merchants, and Wanderlustian's, such as the beautiful Marso.

A Note for EU Backers (GSPR)
Currently, only the Midnight Muscadines book pledge level is available to EU backers due to GSPR requirements. We are working to make sure we are compliant with the cards and dice before we can offer those to options to folks in the EU.
We recommend backing at the Midnight Muscadines Book level, and once we can ensure we can ship everything to EU backers without issue, we'll send an announcement, and you can update your pledge (all pledges can be modified until we lock orders before shipping the game).
