This is a quick end-of-year update (a double dip in December) to let you know a few important things. 

First off, we're sorry to say that the estimated release for your digital copies the book before the end of the year was a little optimistic on our part. There are a few reasons for this. Some out of our control, some certainly within.

We've had to contend with some unpredictable forces this year. Most of our community will already know our Archetype Dice have been out of stock in most of our markets this year (thankfully not anymore), and that's just the tip of the iceberg on what we've been contending with. First (and most consistently stifling), the general state of the world - geopolitics and reliable logistics do not go hand-in-hand. We've had varying customs standards, shipment delays, manufacturer changes, and more.

We're a small team (5!), so any problem in the business takes one of us away from our regular roles (writing, layout, design, sales) and throws us headfirst into new arenas. Needless to say, this isn't great for time management. But we've weathered those storms, the dice are back, and we're setting into 2026 in ship-shape.

That's not to say we're entirely without responsibility for this delay. We underestimated the time in perfecting a card deck - and we had to make two. We've had the entire team jumping roles to aid in different projects that are on the go, everyone working hard to keep plates spinning. Sadly, it's never as simple as not developing anything new while fulfilling the old, either. With a small company like this, we need to always keep moving forward. We don't have the capital to take things one day at a time.

We really wanted to deliver this project ahead of our usual schedule, so we set a shorter delivery date. That's probably the thing that really shot us in the foot. "The path to hell is paved with well-meaning logistical promises..." 

We're sorry that this is a bit of a Christmas let-down, so let's look at the positive:

Everything from the core expansion book to the bonus gameplay content is all ready to go!

We have page lock! We're just missing an editorial pass, some essential art, and page number references.

Every new item / weapon / weird thing inside Corporate has a bit of lovely art to go with it, some of it exclusive to the card deck, and they are laid out with painstaking detail. Here's a preview of some of the new peices of art coming to the book and cards:
 

We're still working towards a Q2 physical delivery, fates willing.

We know this might come as a bit of a disappointment, and trust us, we are right there with you. We appreciate all your support, and ask for just a little more patience while we put the ribbon on this (by the time you get it) quite late Christmas gift.
