We’re in the thick of summer, and we hope you're enjoying the sunshine, staying cool, and maybe even spotting a few feathered friends in the wild! This month’s update brings good news on manufacturing progress, clarity on tariffs, and a recap of an incredible Gen Con 2025!

After a few delays caused by shifting tariffs, we’re happy to report that the Bird Games are officially back on track! This month, our manufacturing partner Panda is kicking off the proofing process for all four games.

What’s “proofing,” you ask? It’s a detailed review of every file to ensure all components—from rulebooks to punchboards—are accurate and ready for print. This critical step helps catch any potential errors before production begins. We’ll be working closely with Panda to review and approve everything quickly and thoroughly.

Once the files are fully approved, we’ll receive updated Pre-Production Copies (PPCs). These are final samples that reflect exactly what the finished product will look like. We expect this process to continue through the end of the month, with full-scale manufacturing starting next month!

In some positive news, the U.S.–China tariff truce has been extended for another 90 days. This extension gives us some much-needed clarity as we move forward with production. While the tariff landscape continues to be unpredictable, having a defined window helps us plan more effectively for freight and fulfillment.

Of course, if anything changes, we’ll pivot as needed and keep you updated every step of the way.

We had an amazing time at Gen Con 2025, where a record setting 72,000 attendees came together for four days of tabletop excitement!

Gen Con remains one of our favorite events of the year, and we’re already planning to return in 2026—bigger, better, and with even more to share.
