Project Update: New FAQ: how can I use my minis outside of the Nostalgitron?

We're almost at 150 backers, which means we're almost at a 9th mini!

We’ve gone ahead and developed a 9th battlemap mini, Scruth-Scruth the Talking Chubcat. If we get to 150, everyone who has backed at a $29 or $45 tier is getting the new mini FREE. We’ve worked out how we’re shipping the minis, and we’re just going to add one more to the box of voidminers. Free.

Now, while these battlemap minis definitely have Nostalgitronic style, they’re useful in any speculative-fiction game. Stillfleet minis work particularly well in dragon-game settings such as Spellgrammer. (I’m not taking legal chances by writing out the name; IYKYK.) Here are a few ideas on how to use the minis in your games.

The voidminers and their anti-pet
  1. Asimov – Any bug-person
  2. Delaney – Any nonhuman mammal-person (grinning): bear-person, lion-person, wolf-person, etc.
  3. Le Guin – Any amphibian- or reptile-person (slender)
  4. PKD – Any amphibian-person or mechanical golem: frog-person
  5. Scruth-Scruth – Any strange cat-thing or shapeshifting fae

The baddies
  1. Disco – Any nonhuman mammal-person (wearing sunglasses): bear-person, lion-person, wolf-person, etc.
  2. Heavy – Any amphibian- or reptile-person (stocky): lizard-person
  3. Slerp – Any grody minion: slime-person, skeleton (still partially enfleshed), zombie (wet)
  4. Ubun – Any sorcerous villain of reptilian ancestry: dragon in human form, lizard-person, shapeshifter

Note, we don’t make third-party content. We’re just pointing out that you can use the minis in a variety of fun ways at your table!
