Is it Balanced?
We shook it twice and got two different numbers, so we think it's balanced.
Seriously, the inside core contains a d20 suspended in a liquid. Dice move differently in liquid and require a good spin to get them moving. If you shake, spin, and twist it well enough, it will be pretty balanced.

📦 Local Pickup 📦
We have so much fun doing this event each year. We will host a local pickup event in Colorado Springs so you can pick up your rewards for free.
We will set up a time and a location at Petrie's Family Games so you can come get your Fate Finder, meet the creator, and get your copy signed. 🎉
You will be able to select this option in the pledge manager after the campaign ends. To do so, set your country as "Local Pickup".
We will need to collect and pay sales tax to the areas we ship to. In the US, sales tax must be collected in Colorado where we have a presence. VAT in Europe is collected when we import the products. If you live in one of these areas, we will be collecting the VAT and taxes of sales and shipping in the pledge manager after the campaign ends.

This is our expected timeline of events, though this could be subject to change.
We would love to get Fate Finders in your hands in time for Christmas and Holiday gift-giving. We are working hard to do this but can't make a guarantee.
We have a wave of Fate Finders being manufactured now and were given an estimated delivery date at the end of November in the US. However, we were informed that shipping liquids (the Fate Finder contains a liquid core with the internal d20) can be tricky and subject to additional scrutiny by customs.
While we ship within the US from our garage, fulfillment outside of the US tends to take longer as we rely on fulfillment centers and may experience additional delays overseas.
Sundial Games wants to support online retailers and brick and mortar stores. We have added a retailer pledge. The pledge amount confirms your commitment to order and helps us to finish the product. The full credit will apply to your final order in the pledge manager.

We have many of these Fate Finders in production already and are a bit limited in what we can further add or modify.
We have plans to create new designs in the future and offer them as accessories with future Quest Calendars.

We are hard at work on the next Quest Calendar and more. In the meantime, we wanted to share a new product with you. We wanted to release it as an accessory with the last calendar, but the manufacturing design took longer than expected. Alas, here we are with our most exciting d20.
By backing this project, you acknowledge that the final appearance, materials, and contents of the rewards are subject to change and may differ from what is presented while the Kickstarter campaign is active.
You are responsible for confirming your reward and providing the necessary shipping information (e.g., your contact info, address, and phone number) to receive your reward promptly. If you don't confirm your pledge within six weeks of receiving our email notification, you agree that Sundial Games has fulfilled our obligations to you in full for payment or donations received. Sundial Games may, at our discretion, refund or ship your reward after the 6-week window has passed on a case-by-case basis. After two shipping attempts to your confirmed shipping address have failed, you are responsible for any additional postage/shipping costs to re-ship your reward.
