Project Update: 📜 Small Update: Major Power Outage in Europe
Hello hello everyone!
We wanted to post a minor update, and this is regarding how Europe (specifically Portugal/Spain, and parts of France) have gotten hit by a major power outage yesterday, on April 28th (which seems - so far - to be considered to be our biggest power outage in history), which not only cut us off from electricity, but it affected telecommunications (not being able to text/call or have access to mobile data, similar to being in the middle of nowhere with no signal), gas stations shutting down, grocery stores/malls running on generators, public transports being shut down, traffic lights not working and thus causing chaos on the streets...
While the electricity has been restored since late last night for most folks, we've only gotten our power back at around 4:00pm (Western European Time) today. While this is great, we're not sure if it'll remain stable, as it has been said that it could take a week for things to get properly back to normal... 😞
Thankfully the other plushies are nearing their final stages and are soon to be ready to get the smaller stuff sorted out (tags, CE safety testing, etc.), so we hope production and fulfillment will proceed as initially planned since the start of this project, but we're also anticipating that we may have to push back the dates a little as a possibility... but if it does come to that, we'll post a separate update and keep everyone in the loop!
