Yes, K.I.T.T. will respond in the voice of William Daniels, with multiple lines from season 4 of Knight Rider™. 

Yes, the rear view mirror will be removed from the final version. It was originally included in our prototype because our designers were referencing the actual SPM K.I.T.T. that was at the Volo Car Museum, but we will be removing it in the final version based on feedback from fans.

The replica’s voice recognition software will activate when you say “K.I.T.T.”. The responses will vary depending on the length of your question, and are randomized.

DOES IT HAVE SOUND EFFECTS?
Yes, it has sound effects in addition to lines from the show. The scanner will make the same "woosh woosh" sound effect as heard in the show. While sound effects are still being finalized,  they will include the scanner, different computer sounds, transformation noises for Super Pursuit Mode, and air brakes. 

Yes, it has both interior and exterior light effects, including the scanner, headlights, dashboard, accelerator pedal, door handles, tail lights, K.I.T.T. voice module, and TV monitor. 

No, you cannot keep the lights on indefinitely. They will time out after a certain amount of time, but the length of time has not yet been finalized.

The monitor is a LED mini screen. It will play various clips of what can be seen on it in the TV show. You can see an example of this in the campaign video.

WHICH LICENSE PLATES WILL BE INCLUDED?
There are three license plates that you can rotate through; two blue, and one white. The blue license plates will read “KNIGHT” and “KNI 677” respectively. The white license plate is still being finalized.

Yes, the T-top is included. It has two brakes on the side and one on the top. They are attached and cannot be removed, and are not swappable.

No, the tailgate does not open.

No, the seats are stationary and cannot be adjusted.

Yes, the steering wheel turns, but it doesn't turn the wheels.

No, this replica will not include a grappling hook.

The replica comes in premium collectible packaging, packed in sturdy EPS protective foam and placed in an exterior cardboard box prior to shipment. While the exact packaging is still being finalized, our previous TOMY+ replicas have featured a black matte box and embossed details.

DOES THE REPLICA COME WITH ANY ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTATION OR CERTIFICATES OF AUTHENTICITY?

Yes, it comes with a certificate of authenticity.

No, promotional photos and videos feature a plastic prototype and the final production design will not be finalized until after the campaign has been successfully funded. While there may be some changes and tweaks to details in the final design, the prototype is still an accurate representation of what customers can expect to receive.
