Hopping into your mailbox with an update! (In case you backed my previous project, sorry for all the extra emails that almost reads the same, ahaha!)
The survey's have been locked and cards have been charged! There are currently 8 with failed card charges but that won't stop me from preparing for the fulfillment. Do check if you have a message about your failed charge and have it fixed asap!

As we speak my partner has been un-bagging all the pins ready to check the quality of them all.
This week I'll order the backing cards for the pins! The pins will have to wait until these arrive, but in the meantime other orders I'll be collecting all the orders to a speedy fulfillment once the cards arrive.

In total I have about 80 parcels to pack for this project and with other deadlines still active (along with an active crowdfunding project at the same time) I'll be packing them at a slower pace. In February the parcels will all be shipped off to their new homes tho!

Now is the time to finalize the address you want me to ship the items to! If you need more time for a final address, due to a move or something, please let me know (comments below, dm on instagram/bsky, contact through contact form on my webshop) and I'll think along as what we can do.

Leftovers of this crowdfunding project will hit my webshop later and will be available at the upcoming conventions as well.

Great news today in my inbox from my contact, the Floris the Frog enamel pins are being shipped off!
She added a bunch of pictures of them and they look so good, I can't wait to see them irl.

The surveys will be locked and charged when the pins arrive.
If I have to pin-point a date for it I would say around 26th January.
Fulfillment will start once they arrived and grading has been done. 
May this be your heads up for the charge of the card!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the winter holidays! I just wanted to provide a quick update! 

Surveys are now locked, and the spider web freebie pin has been added to the pledges of all eligible backers. If you are missing any freebies from your pledge, please message us on Backerkit or via email: [email protected]. 

Backers who opted for the Pay-Over-Time option will receive their surveys once their final payment is processed or when the remaining balance is paid in full (whichever comes first). If you haven't submitted your survey yet, please do so soon! We will be starting production soon. 

Cards were charged yesterday for shipping fees, taxes (applicable only in Canada), and survey add-ons. We did not collect shipping fees and taxes during the campaign. We apologize that it took longer than expected to charge cards (the original charge date was Dec 12). We wanted to ensure that all backers received the correct freebies before charging cards, so it took longer than anticipated to review everyone's surveys before charging cards.

We had a few backers reach out for some clarification on how payments are handled with Backerkit. Here is a payment breakdown:

1st Charge (Backerkit Crowdfunding Campaign):

Even though the second charge was processed through Backerkit's pledge manager, the charge will appear as "MOCHIVILLE" on your credit card statement. I, unfortunately, do not have control over how the name appears on charges. I apologize for any confusion. Please be assured that the second charge was processed through Backerkit, and we did not charge this separately as an extra hidden charge.

To find a breakdown of the charges (shipping fees, taxes, etc), please check your survey. The breakdown will appear similar to the image below. If you need help finding your survey, you can find it via this link: https://spooky-critters-of-sleepy-hollow.backerkit.com/

We received several messages expressing concerns about US shipping. Our pins are manufactured in China and will be shipped from Canada. Since our pins are classified as foreign commercial goods, they will be subject to tariffs and duties upon entering the US. 

US shipping for this campaign is $25 CAD (about $18.15 USD) and $35 CAD (about $25.41 USD) for the Deluxe collection. These shipping fees cover DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) postage. DDP postage includes duty fees, tariffs, and taxes with the shipping fee. Since these fees are prepaid, your packages will have the best chance of passing through US customs with minimal issues, and there won't be any surprise fees upon delivery through the shipping carrier.

We have tried different shipping methods, but we have experienced our packages being stuck in customs for several weeks or being rejected and returned to Canada. DDP postage is the only viable option for shipping packages from Canada to the US at this time.
 
We understand that $25 CAD ($18.15 USD) shipping is still expensive. If we find cheaper shipping options closer to fulfillment, we will refund the difference for US shipping.  

Production will start soon! 90% of surveys have been completed. Thank you, everyone! We can now get the final production numbers to our manufacturer. We hope to share some production photos soon!

I finished the Art Witch designs. I know the stained glass accessory had the most votes, but it just wasn’t coming together as a cohesive collection, so we have a painting artist. 🎨

We did it! 🥳 And we unlocked the Art Witch Set at the very end! Thank you so much for bringing this project to life! I will have the designs finished before the survey is sent out on the 15th.

Failed Pledges

As stated in the campaign graphic:
Just remember, only pledges completed prior to surveys being sent unlock the magickal extras like free gifts, stretch goals, and campaign bonuses.

Any bonuses will be added to your pledge prior to surveys being sent. Bonuses will be added based on FUNDS PAID, not Pledged.

✨Plus: If ALL PLEDGES ARE PAID PRIOR TO SURVEYS, EVERYONE WILL GET A BONUS MINI PIN of a new design!✨

So take a moment to double check your pledge payment has processed. If you selected the “Pay Over Time” option you have nothing to worry about as long as each installment payment clears. 

I will post another update closer to surveys as a reminder that they are being sent. Surveys will be due on Nov. 30th. This is when shipping costs and any funds owed from add-ons will be charged.

Hey hey everyone and happy halloween!
We‘ve been climbing slowly but surely, buuuut given how close the end of the campaign is and the fact that some of you are still hoping for the last few mushrooms, I‘ve decided to just unlock them! All purchasable mini pins are unlocked!
This should give you some security that the mini pins you want are all available without having to constantly monitor the campaign. (And I get to sleep better too lol)
I put 10.6k as the threshold in the graphic but honestly unless we have a mass cancellation, they stay unlocked even if we dip below.

Please note that the freebie pin (the cat) may or may not be unlocked at all. The conditions for that one remain the same. If we don‘t unlock it as a freebie, I will see if there‘s enough interest in it post-campaign to make it anyways and make it a purchasable add-on as well. If the 11.5k tier is unlocked, it will also be purchasable by everyone.

I hope that makes a few choices easier for you all.
Again, even if we don‘t unlock everything, I‘m already more than happy with how this project went and I could never make pins regularly if it wasn‘t for you all!

Also just for shit and giggles let me know what your favourite mini pins is from the newly added stretch goals :D
