Project Update: 🐁 Is your name correct? Please check here! ✍️ [Action required]

Hello Rolling Coast backers,

This post contains important action required for everyone who backed Rolling Coast at any of these levels: VIP Explorer, Lifetime Explorer, and All-Access Explorer.

One of the benefits for backers in those tiers is that they will be thanked in the finished book. By default, this will use the name from your BackerKit profile, but if you want it to be displayed differently in the book, please let us know below!

👉 Here are the names exported directly from BackerKit and added to the book - they are displayed in the order they were exported. If you want to change your name as it is displayed, please comment on this post.

The list of backer names being thanked in the Rolling Coast book.

  • If your name looks correct: no action needed.

  • If you’d like something changed (spelling, capitalisation, or anything else), comment below with your changes.

  • If you’d prefer not to have your name in the book at all, that’s totally fine - please comment below to say so.

  • If your name isn't there, and you backed the project at the VIP Explorer, Lifetime Explorer, or All-Access Explorer level, please comment below to let us know.

If we don't hear from you, we'll assume your name is correct and use it as displayed. If you need any changes made, please comment as soon as possible.

Thank you!

See you at the game table,
Matt & Hugh

I wanted to show off some of the sticker illustrations for Mechritter in more detail. My favourite is the Park Trash one because I love the little water bottle helmet. Which one is yours? Don't forget anyone who backs the project at any physical tier gets access to all the sticker sets we produce!

Project Update: Junk City digital files are here!

Hello all! Sorry it's been so long since the last update.

Last time I wrote, we were prepping everything for the final editing pass. Well, now that's done! We've been busy finalising the Junk City files and getting everything ready to send to the printer and send to you.

Three rounds of editing later, we have stamped many typos, re-written the final adventure, tweaked campaign structure and have a hopefully-pretty-free-of-mistakes package!

Digital release

The digital release for Junk City is now ready! You should receive emails soon with instructions for how to download the files from BackerKit. Here is a link to your survey to access them as well.  I'm super excited for you all to get a first real look at the campaign, the adventures and what we've been cooking for the last 3 years.

As part of the digital release, I'm trying something new: A digital edition of the adventures. This re-formats & lightly edits the adventures so they fit onto a normal A5 page sized book. It's a bit more friendly to digital reading and printing at home than the original premium pamphlet format. Let me know what you think! Should I back-port this to the Estate too?

On to the printing process

We've also finished prepping all the files to go to the printer. The next step will working with the printer on a "white box" sample. This is a 1:1 sample of what you'll finally get in the box, but without anything printed on it. Reviewing this gives us a chance to make sure that all the components are the right size & shape, and that everything fits in the box and feels great in the hand.

As we receive this sample, and move on to the next phases of production we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Thanks for sticking with us! We'll be in touch soon.

Project Update: Mission Update: Off to the Printers!

Backer Exclusive War Is Hex Cover Art
Hello all,

The summer turned into a blur of activity on our end and I want to start by acknowledging and apologizing, I missed our initial deadline for getting out PDFs.

But the good news is we wrapped everything on the core products at the beginning of September and have sent the files to the printer. Hopefully within a month I will be holding a physical copy of the setting you all made possible! Hell in a Hog Waller is part of the massive pledge manager so books will be shipped at a later date.

For those eagerly awaiting the digital copies the last thing we have to do is hyperlink the PDFs and get them all packaged up. Our graphic designer Bullfrogjam (James) will be working on this in the very near future and once I have met with him will send out another update regarding timing.

Once the core digital products are out in the wild we will start work on the stretch goals.

Again we can't thank all of you enough for your support on this project!

Project Update: At the printers

Greetings all,

I am glad to say that the print files are fully finalised and are with the printer. Once the physical copies are printed they will be sent to Exalted Funeral and Games Omnivorous for fulfilment. As Rinn is part of the group shipping it will be shipped when all of the other projects are printed and ready to go. The current target is January 2027.

In the meantime I am going to put the final touches on the digital version. There is not much to do, mainly hyperlinking the main zine, and finishing out a couple of online generators that accompany it—Raske the Travelling Salesmouse and a tavern generator.

There are a few options for digital fulfilment in front of me, so I'm going to take a bit of time to look into them to see which one suits best. I want to get the digital copies out to backers pretty soon, so once I have a decision made I will post another update in that regard.

Thanks again for your patience and support. It's exciting knowing that Rinn is in the last leg of becoming a physical reality. I can't wait for you all to get your hands on it.

Owen

Project Update: Shipment to Portgual for group shipment

Summer break is over, so now I can send Stinkcity to Portugal to unite my fanzine with the others of the group shipment. Stinkcity will be one of the first to be ready, and I hope others will join soon. So you don't need to wait too long. This is also the point where Stinkcity Fanzines leaves me, and more professional people (than me doing this in the living room) take care of logistics to get everything shipped to you. So it's kind of a goodbye for me, but the journey for Stinkcity to you just started.

To shorten the wait you could check out my other projects, most of them are free. Such as Chaos in Coloria - a coloring book adventure for Mausritter. It´s easy to print at home, so no need to wait for shipping!

If you haven't already claimed the digital files: please check out the message below for backers only. There is the link and password for the digital files below in the message for backers only.

Project Update: Heads Up About Digital Files

Hi everyone,
The digital files are finished.
Digital fulfillment is expected to begin during the week of September 7th, handled by Games Omnivorous and Exalted Funeral, the same partners already managing physical fulfillment. You'll receive your digital rewards through them once that starts.
Physical rewards remain in production; I'll share another update as soon as I have news on the print run.
Thanks again for your support!

Project Update: Getcher update!

Hello all! Not much to report for now, but here's a quick state of the union. It's looking like an early next year fulfillment for the projects in the group shipping, so there's little to do but wait. Projects are in differing stages of completion, some have begun trickling into the hands of our fulfillment partners, others going into print. Starting next month, I'll be getting in touch with the printers for help in setting the files ready for production and expect things to pick up steam from there. I will keep you posted!

In other news, I have another project coming out. Quite a different one from Soul Food I guess! It's called Hellward Unto the Breach and you can hear my esteemed editor and publisher Jert chat about it on the internet's pre-eminent not cat-related chat show.

Well, that's it for now! Stay cool, people.
