Project Update: December Update, with video!
Hey folks,
Well, we're getting close! Everything is off to manufacturing, and we've gotten back from images of the proofs. They'll be sending us the physical proofs next week from China, so I hope to have them before the holidays so we can approve printing to proceed.
One hiccup... the dice look like crap! The manufacturers provided me with images of the dice, and they were exceptionally bad. They are going to have to remake the proofs with new specifications, which is going to take a few weeks. But we have to do it. I can't deliver you the ugly things they made the first time around. We'll get it sorted!
Here's a video of the proof books they printed. They need some tweaking, but overall they look pretty good. My hope is to give them a thorough physical review in a couple of weeks (when they arrive) and have feedback for them before the end of the year. Once that happens, it should only be a few more weeks for the full print runs.
Thanks for your patience, everyone. This is out first time working with an overseas printer, and it has been a process. We're learning. It will only get easier from here!
Happy holidays!
