Project Update: Angel Dust in editing and KFAD writing continues!
Well howdy folks!
It's been a bit too long since I sent an update. I try to send these no more than a month apart. Sorry about that. We've got some good updates this month, so here goes!

Angel Dust Editing and Layout
I am most of the way through the final editing of Angel Dust. The primary concern at this point is trying to keep it under 128 pages to have the same form factor as The Real Thing. It won't kill us if we go longer, but we really wanted it to be the same size. Arbitrary, honestly... So, once the layout is finished, if we're a few pages over, we're not going to cut anything.
We have almost all of the art for Angel Dust, but we may yet commission a few more pieces to really flesh out some of the scenes for the story. It remains to be determined once I figure out exactly what is missing.
All that to say, we're really friggin' close on Angel Dust!

KFAD Final Draft
Jason #1 (Peercy) is finalizing the story elements for King for a Day, which should be done in the next couple of weeks. We're a bit behind on this one because playtesting has taken much longer than we anticipated, which delayed the finalization of a few of the story elements. But writing is ramping back up and we'll do our best to catch up on the project as a whole.
We have about 15 - 20 more pieces of art to commission for KFAD, which we'll be in a position to do once the current draft is finalized. After that we'll need about a month of editing, then a couple of weeks of layout. KFAD will likely be ready for print by the end of April, but it may get pushed to May depending on final playtesting.

Fulfillment Plans
Once the books are ready to print (by May) it should only be a few weeks for them to get finished. In the meantime, even if we are behind on the actual books, we'll be pushing the printing of shirts, the manufacturing of dice, and such forward by the end of April.
Our fulfillment partner is World of Game Design, and is managed by one of our backers, which is cool! (Shout out to Troy!) We have confirmed that they will be ready to accept our printed materials at their facility, and they are ready to go.
Our timing seems to be that we will be shipping things by summer. Again, we're a bit behind. We had hoped to be done shipping by May, but we're not going to make it. For that I am sorry. We'll have more details on timing in the coming weeks.

Want to Watch the Real Thing Played?
Two of our backers chose the "play a game with the creators" option in the last campaign. Thanks, friends! For those two backers, and an all-star cast of streamers and other creators, Mr. Peercy will be running a multi-session version of all three books (streamlined to keep it a reasonable length). Even better, this will be streamed/recorded so everyone can drop in or watch at their leisure. The first sessions will be in March, followed by a break in April while Peercy travels to Europe, and will finish up in May. We'll have the details out to you all soon. We'd love to have our backers check it out!
Another Project You Might Like
Accidental Cyclops is also crowdfunding our next project this March! It is unrelated to The Real Thing and leverages a mostly different team, but we think you'll love it!
We have partnered with Emily Hare, a UK-based artist, to make a D&D supplement inspired by and created with her artwork. We have an amazing design team, including Shawn Merwin, Ed Greenwood, Dan Dillon, Elisa Teague, Bryan C.P. Steele, Erin Roberts, James Haeck, and Dael Kingsmill. It is truly a who's who of current and legendary game designers. It is called Surviving Strangehollow, and we'd love your support!
Here's some more art from Teresa Guido!
Cheers all!
