We just received the plotter proofs and blank dummies from our printer and thought we'd share some images.
Plotter Proofs
These are rough proofs that are only meant to show the layout and breakdown of 16-page chunks (in the books) for us to make sure there's nothing glaringly wrong. These are not on the final paper, or printed on the offset press. The color is not final, and in general is more washed out and "fuzzy" than it will be in its final form. BUT these proofs do allows us the opportunity to make any final corrections before preparation for final printing begins.

These are blank, white mockups of all the packaging, including the books, maps with map covers, the cards as they will be shrink-wrapped, etc. These are the ACTUAL materials with the actual binding, including the ribbons and H/T strips. They are blank though, with nothing printed in them. They are to make sure the packaging and binding are correct.

Next Steps
We have just a FEW final corrections to make and we should have those to the printer by the end of the weekend. As of now we are on schedule, and the next steps is to let the printer move forward with getting everything ready for mass production. I believe we'll get one more round of proofs in the form of ozalids before we get our actual sample copies around October-ish before the final print run goes to press. We hope to have everything ready to ship by early February 2026!
