Project Update: Delivery Update. First books out the door!
The headline says it all: Our first wave of books has left the warehouse and started arriving on doorsteps.
Here's the rundown on where things are at, and what to expect:
- Our warehouse partner (Atlas Games in Duluth, MN) has begun fulfilling those pledges which just include the standard edition cover. The standard edition books were ready first, so those orders are getting priority.
- There was a printing error with the covers of the Limited Edition but we caught it in time. Those books needed to be fixed but that is now complete and our warehouse should start processing pledges that include Limited Edition books starting next week.
- All the extra components (dice, cards, coin) were finished some time ago. If you have those in your pledge, they will not affect when your order gets processed.
- As of this morning, the PDF, Accessible PDF, and DriveThruRPG codes for the PDF have been distributed to backers. Look for an email titled "New Digital Content for Stewpot: Tales From A Fantasy Tavern on BackerKit" from [email protected]. It will have a link to download those files/codes.
- The Roll20 module is still under development but we hope to release that in the next three weeks.
- The stretch goals are largely complete, we are doing a final layout pass/touch-up and plan to release that soon as well. Again: a select set of stretch goals were included in the books (like a few of the new games and the recipes). All remaining stretch goals will be delivered as a separate PDF.
Please note: Earlier this week we released a version of the PDF that accidentally left out the copyright page and therefore the CC-BY-SA declaration. We updated the file yesterday to fix that omission.
If you have any customer service issues (a damaged book, change of address, etc) please email us at [email protected]. We try to monitor the comments here but emailing us is the best (and quickest!) way to get eyes on your issue.
That's the status update! Proud to note that most backers will get the rewards for this project a solid four months ahead of our projected delivery date.
We do our best to make games that aren't just a pleasure to play, but a treasure to hold and look at. We're very happy with how Stewpot turned out. As we head into the winter season, we hope you enjoy some chill, cozy times recounting the tales of your retired adventurers.
