Project Update: Returning Backer Stickers + Gorgar Memories & Maps

Cool chevron stickers for backers who return!

Hello everyone!

Our Returning Backer stickers have been really popular, and we're happy to show off the designs for this campaign. In short, if this is your "second or more" Goodman Games crowdfunding, you'll get a Returning Backer sticker thrown in with your pledge. Back OSA or PCC or both to get the corresponding sticker. And they turned out really cool!

Plus, Gorgar memories and a cartography process video - read on!

Gorgar as a returning backer sticker!

Old-School adventures - knight vs. kobold. Doesn't get more old-school!

Speaking of Gorgar...

Did You Also Stat Up Gorgar In The 1980's?

Editor Tim Wadzinski has done a lot of great work for Goodman Games - many of you may recognize his name from our Original Adventures Reincarnated line. He recently wrote to us with this scan of his D&D notebook from 1982. And yes, those are Gorgar stats:

Because we all needed D&D stats for Gorgar in 1982!

As Tim told us,

Gorgar took me back. I think I played this machine around 1982-3 at the old arcade that used to be in Lake Geneva across the street from The Dungeon Hobby Shop. I went home and statted up Gorgar in my spiral notebook, which I still have. I also statted up pinball character Elektra on the same page. Why as Electra? Who knows! After re-reading all this I see I made up some backstory that she and Gorgar had beef in my homebrew world of Blackpool!

I think we all can identify. Some of you had a notebook full of homebrew stats back in the day, and probably a favorite arcade too. Tell us more in the comments!

Livestream Recap and Chuck's Process Video

We had a fun discussion yesterday. Guest artist Chuck Whelon showed off several cool images, including his map for the Gorgar adventure:

Chuck Whelon's rendering of one of the Gorgar maps.

You can watch the full livestream replay below. But first, here is a video that Chuck sent us showing his entire process of drawing the Gorgar map. Watch it at 2x speed and see the map take shape before your eyes!

Chuck's process video: how the Gorgar map was drawn!

And here is the livestream replay for those who missed it:

Thanks everyone!
