Just a crisp 4 days away from launch, and we're making good progress on our backerkit community buddy design!! Thank you all SO SO MUCH for all your suggestions, there were so SO many good ideas, I hope I'm able to make even more pajama buddies!! :3c

Check out the poll below to place your vote for the creature you'd most like to see a pajama buddy of!! After we've narrowed down which animal we'll move forward with, I'll put out another update fielding suggestions for a specific theme for our new buddy!! :D

I decided to make a few sketches just to show the ideas I had for each different animal as far as shape goes!

A few design notes: specifically for sheep, I'll have to conceptualize more on how to convey the fluffy wool - I feel most people generally have mixed opinions on textured fabrics, and while I'd love to use pearl plush because it's a favorite of mine, it's hard to convince people over images that it's nowhere near the evils of sherpa lol. If we go forward with a sheep I'll propose a few different ideas and let you all give your feedback on them!

I also played around with a few bird designs, but couldn't convince myself that it was normal to have them in a laying position like the other characters because birds don't sleep like that (a fact which I've ignored for other animals but for some reason this one was giving me a conniption lol.) I still think a pjb birdie would be really cute, so I'm gonna keep playing around with it, but they'll likely be a very different shape/posed differently if we get to the point they become a plush!
