Project Update: Series 2 Update: Snughouls have arrived!!
Okay okay, I lied just a little bit-- they actually arrived earlier this week and are in the process of being unloaded, counted, and sorted right now 😉 All TWO shipping containers full of them!
This is not a drill, critters! Your monstrous new friends are only one more step away from reaching you! I'm highly optimistic that shipping will begin next week, after everything is recorded and set up for easy fulfillment.
Addresses are now locked, so if you need a last minute address change now is the time to reach out by sending an email to [email protected]. After this week I cannot guarantee I will see address change emails in time to make adjustments. Once I send the packing list to the fulfillment team it becomes much harder to modify things and is largely out of my hands.
My ultimate hope and goal is that all or most domestic orders will receive their 'ghoul before Christmas, but I've also prepared a little something incase they're running late due to the holiday rush! You can download and print this card here if you plan to give a snughoul as a gift this year.
And finally I'd like to address the Canadian postal strike real quick. I'm well aware of it and the heartache its causing my northern neighbors, and continue to watch the situation closely myself. Unfortunately my options are fairly limited in that I can 1) hold all Canadian orders until the strike resolves and USPS is accepting packages again or 2) use a courier like fedex or UPS to get them out the door asap, but cost folks a small fortune in duties and fees.
Frankly, I'm not sure what the optimal solution is here. Canadian critters: which option do you prefer? Quick and expensive, or slow and cheap(ish)? I look forward to reading your input, and in the meantime I'm still crossing my fingers that a holiday miracle happens and packages start moving again before we ship!Â
