Tailside Alpha is now live! 🎉 (read below for info about any access issues)

I’m excited to announce that the Alpha version of Tailside is now live and ready to try for all our amazing backers! (And for all the others... There is a special public playtest coming very soon!)

This milestone comes with an extra reason to celebrate—we just hit 40,000 wishlists on Steam! Thank you so much for your support!

Since the first sneak peek shared with our lovely Discord members last week, we’ve patched things up, added improvements, and polished the build for today’s release. And honestly? The game already has more features than we originally planned and that’s just the beginning. There are still more surprises and unannounced features we’ll be revealing as we go!

From now on, backers will have ongoing access to the Alpha version and receive regular updates as we continue developing Tailside together. We can’t wait to hear your thoughts and grow the game with your feedback following the current roadmap!

ALPHA KEY ON BACKERKIT

I ALREADY OWN THE GAME AND CAN'T CLAIM THE ALPHA
For everyone that might have already claimed the game with a normal key but not the alpha key:

In this case you might need to contact steam support for removal of the game to re-add it, because the alpha key is basically a normal key with an access to alpha versions, so you can't double claim it.

You can contact steam support with the topic: "I want to permanently remove this game from my account"
And you can just write:
"I have a beta access key of the game, however I can't redeem it because I already redeemed the game with a normal key. I would like to remove the game from my library so I can redeem the beta access instead."
("beta" because that's how it's called officially on steam)

I will resend you a normal key after to keep so it doesn't go to waste or whatever you want to use it for so you don't lose it so please just email me about this from your backerkit email to: [email protected]

I'M NOT SURE IF USED NORMAL OR ALPHA KEY:
if you used the alpha key (normal with alpha access) you will be able to download the game. If not, then you probably just have the game in your library but won't be able to download it.
