Hello everyone!  Long time no talk, but we are plugging away behind the scenes here ramping up to delivery of physical product!

We just got in our printed sheets proofs from the printer. These are the unbound, unfinalized sheets and book packages with the final paper, and the final printing process and lamination, etc. so we can make any final adjustments before the mass printing begins! It's very exciting! Here are some pictures!

Things are coming together quickly. I've got just a few notes for the printer, and once a couple of adjustments are made, the next step is for them to produce and send me production samples in a few weeks. These will be the final products, cut, fully bound, and packaged--basically the same thing you all will get when the bulk printing run is complete. Once those final samples are approved, final production begins. 

We are ahead of schedule, and as such, we HOPE to be able to start shipping product to much earlier than anticipated (originally set for February).  This means, if we're lucky, you may get your books and accessories before Christmas! There are still some hoops to jump through, including, of course, the added complications of today's international customs delays, etc., so no promises on timeline yet. But we're hopeful!

This means that if all goes well, in about two months, we'll need to lock down addresses in the pledge manager and finally charge for shipping. When we get closer to actually doing this, we'll give you plenty of warning, but for now, we wanted to share what we knew. The proofs look really spectacular and I almost teared up when I opened them. Check out the pictures and you'll see for yourself.
