Happy Tuesday, everyone! Before we get to the day's monster fight, mark your calendar! We're streaming tomorrow, Wednesday at 9am Pacific / Noon Eastern, and this time we're bringing the fabulous Will McAusland to the party. Will's an awesome artist and a fun guy. It's going to be a lively stream!
Will painted that amazing DCC wraparound cover, as well as such famous Dungeon Denizens 2 monsters as the Tongue-Taker, Walking Eye, Goblinspawn, and Swamp Devil. Let's check out some of his work here:

I mean, creatures like that are what a monster book is all about, right?? Join us Wednesday to chat with Will! We'll also be talking backer submission guidelines, the Flumph's own magic item picks, and monster-hide textures!
Now, on to the fight:
Results of Match 6
It wasn't even close. BIAB wins 75-25, and I think this backer quote sums up the general sentiment: "This one was never going to be close. The brain is just too awesome." Agreed!
Round 1, match 7: Babaw vs. Eavespike
Coming at you from the shadows, we’re putting this battle in the spotlight! One is a quiet stalker while the other one loves to sing, but if you annoy either of them you’re in for a dark time!
The Babaw is a creature made of shadow that will hunt down its prey and absorb them directly into their own body. And that’s not just true of the living, as they are just as prone to take in objects and other items as well!
Which means the elemental Eavespike might fall into either category! It’s not going to go without a fight, though, and it’s bringing both insidious ice and fearful fire attacks to the fray. Just because it likes to sing doesn’t mean it’s all happy-go-lucky!
Both of these combatants are looking to move forward, but only one of them can come out on top! They are both dark horse candidates, but neither of them are equine—so, these are just two dark contenders!
Who do you think is going to win the fight? Vote below!
How does this work? Vote in the poll below for the monster that you think would win in a fight. Each weekday there's a new bout. Winners advance, losers die. Eventually there will be only two! Every backer who participates by voting is entered into a drawing to win original art, as shown in this earlier update!
