Well, that happened FAST! Funded was reached in two hours and 7 out of 8 stretch goals were reached in the first 24-hours. That’s insane! I can’t thank you all enough for the support that you’ve given this project – it’s truly incredible to see myself up there with the big leagues of Mothership creators for this project, and I am truly stunned at how well this project has gone so far. Alright, with that, let’s get down to the rundown of updates and unlocks:

This project is coming to life and I can’t wait for it be in everyone’s hands and on your screens!
Stretch Goal 1 Unlocked!
My cover artist, Brayz, will be providing even more of his incredible art to fill out the pages of the zine! I’m very excited about this – we’ve been chatting about ideas for a bit now and I can’t wait to see what he has to show you all.
Stretch Goal 2 Unlocked!
I’ll be creating a set of printable handouts for players. These will be dossier-style handouts with expanded details on the 6 C-Suite members included in the zine. One of the things that the players at my table love are having docs to hand that they can use to reference throughout the game, so looking forward to working on this one!
Stretch Goal 3 Unlocked!
With this goal, I’ll be doubling the number of potential loadouts for players to choose from. The original table had d10 loadouts – that will be increasing to d20.
Stretch Goal 4 Unlocked!
The NPC generator table is getting a similarly sized expansion, doubling in size from 1d20 to 2d20. The table itself is broken down into 5 categories: Name, Looks, Attitude, Department, & Behavior. So if you really want to go wild with creating an NPC, you’ll have upwards of 200 potential combinations now!
Stretch Goal 5 Unlocked!
I’ll be creating a trifold adventure called Sphere of Influence to act as a prequel to the events of No Gods, No Masters. This will be released digitally to everyone who backs at Believer (PDF copy of the zine) and above. I’ll have more to say about this as the campaign goes on!
Stretch Goal 6 Unlocked!
The tower gets larger! I’m adding another 4 levels to the Tower Layout Table, increasing the number of levels from 18 to 22. This subsequently increases the size of the zine from 32 to 36 pages, which completely ruins my intent for this to be a svelte little project, but who cares!
Stretch Goal 7 Unlocked!
The original soundtrack will be expanded with additional tracks from Snakes of Russia! We’ll be looking at ~45 minutes of music to score your players’ ascent. I’ve had music in mind since the inception of this project and I couldn’t be more excited about this – it’s gonna be so good!
Community Goals
I had included a couple of Community Goals, which I suspect were less visible than the Stretch Goals to everyone backing the project, but live and learn. Anyway, both of those goals were absolutely wrecked in the first 24-hours, so here’s what you all unlocked:
250 Backers Reached!
With this goal reached, I’ll be adding 50 community copies of both No Gods, No Masters and Sphere of Influence to itch.io once the project goes to shelves!
150 Cross-Collab Backers Reached!
This is special for those that backed both No Gods, No Mastersand Grim Merchants by Joshua & Michael Kramer. With this goal reached, I’ll be working with them to create a batch of bespoke loadouts for No Gods, No Masters based on the equipment from the equipment available in Grim Merchants. This will be a digital release only, and will only go out to those that have backed both projects as an extra thank you!
What’s Next:
There is a little less than 24-hours left to back the project and receive a FREE “Make Every Breath Count” Patch! This patch is exclusive to those that back within the first 48-hours of the project and will not be made available as an add-on, so get a wiggle on if you want one of these bad boys! As a reminder, the patches are only available for those that back a physical pledge level (Renegade or Mastermind).
The next (and final…so far) Stretch Goal is within sight – at $8,000, everyone who contributed to the project will be receiving a bonus from the project profits. I’m really excited about this. Being an artist of any stripe is really, incredibly difficult at present, so being able to get more funds in the hands of people whose work I love is important to me.
I’ve also got another Community Goal that just went live – if we reach 500 backers on the project, Sphere of Influence will be expanded from a tri-fold to a short zine (~8-10 pages) that will include guidance on integrating METAStatic, Inc., into a campaign on Prospero’s Dream.

Sunlit Path by RAC Computing & Joshua Justice
RAC’s Straight Arrows is one of the most beautiful pieces of Mothership content I have ever seen, handsdown, and Joshua’s Hecate modules are just so incredibly fun that I cannot wait to have my hands on what they’ve managed to create together. They’re within spitting distance of funding, so give them a look:
This project has been so fun to watch develop! I love what Scott has been putting together here and the musical vibes are absolutely delightful. Also, Quinns from Quinn’s Quest digs it, and are you really gonna argue with Quinns?
There is A LOT in here! There’s new classes, new equipment, and phase alterations (for those of you that already own A Pound of Flesh). This is going to be an extremely neat book, so you should definitely give it a look. It’s also very close to funding, so maybe you could be the one to give it a boost over the line:
